Shiritori

Recommended Posts

Do you speak Japanese? or Do you know some Japanese?

Anyone who wants to learn and use Japanese, let's do this game;)

it's called Shiritori (Shi-ri-to-ri) As you may know Shiri means butt hehe

I'm not good at explaining in both in Japanese and English so

here is how to play!

Shiritori - Japanese word game

Shiritori is a Japanese word game in which the players are required to say a word which begins with the final kana of the previous word. No distinction is made between hiragana and katakana.

Example: SAkuRA(cherryblossom) -> RAjiO(Radio) -> OnigiRI(Riceball)-> RISU Squirrel)-> SUmou (Sumou wrestling))-> UdoNN (Thick noodles)

The word \"udon\" loses the game, as it ends with a syllabic \"n\". (Japanese words may not begin with a syllabic \"n\".)

Got it?

we play this on another forum and so i wanted to see if we can do it here too ^^

so lemme start ^^

sakuRA
