sounds like some truscum shit.  i can’t speak for the trans community as a whole, obviously, but i can definitely say that trans people have far more pressing issues rn than some enby using neo-pronouns.  maybe focus this energy towards a real issue, like trans woc being murdered left and right, or lgbt spaces not always being trans inclusive, or the existence of terfs.  neo-pronouns pale in comparison.

If that makes me a scumbag, then so be it. Call me whatever name you want, I will stand up for trans people no matter what. One of the reasons why there's so many killings is because of these fairytale pronouns making it harder for society to take them seriously and their lives are not as valued as a fellow human being. This bullshit is just fueling transphobia and we are regressing.

My friend who's trans asked to be called by "they/them" pronouns because she isn't publicly out yet, but getting called by "he/him" makes her extremely uncomfortable. They/them pronouns are valid because not everything is about binaries or extremes. The problem is xir/xeir and any other made up stuff, they/them has always existed in the English language.

That's a different situation and I would completely understand that. I would also use those pronouns if I was referring to a person I don't know/haven't encountered yet (ex. I wonder who my manager is, I hope they're nice!)

 

However, it still shouldn't apply to everybody. It's just being used by more people cuz it's hip and trendy to be trans and people want to seek attention and validation.

People who convert their pets to veganism are committing animal abuse. You shouldn't make your pet a vegan just like you shouldn't make your child a vegan.

Are you seriously trying to end an argument pointing out the 'ridiculousness' of my 'colorful language' (which instead is a way of trying to discuss politely while not using my mother tongue)? Or even trying to reduce everything you and I've said to a thing of 'liking' or not each other when we actually never have met...? What unfair.

 

Girl, you never cease to amaze me. Now it's clear to everyone reading this that the only 'weak' thing here are your ideas and so your own temple at the moment of discussing with other and making any sense trough them.

I have always heard that if you speak your truth then you have nothing to fear, and that's what I always do. I speak my truth and I know full well that it doesn't do me any favors, gain me any friends or make me seen in a positive light by pretty much anyone who encounters me. But, that's fine, if I wanted all kinds of friends I'd tow the line, fall into place, believe what everyone else does because it's what you're supposed to do and be a good, silent drone. I knew full well once I stopped lurking and started becoming active and revealed myself and laid myself bare that hell would rain down upon me, but I did it anyway and I don't regret it even if it wins me no favors because we're all adults here more or less and all have opinions and everyone has a opinion someone else disagrees with, and may even find morally reprehensible, but that's life. So, no, contrary to what you may think, I am not in fact a troll, just someone who has some very controversial and unpopular opinions. I've been a loner all my life and have only had a select few friends, mostly because of how shy I've always been and afraid to speak my truth and now that I have, albeit quite later than I had hoped, the prophecy has fulfilled itself and I'd do it all over again. 😊

Allow me, one last addition. You don't get to take a moral highground, here, trying to make yourself the victim, the one beacon of truth in the darkness of lies. No one is trying to take away your right to speak your "truths" and I am happy for you, that you were able to break out of your shell but your "truths" are simply opinions, nothing more, nothing less. I never said I spoke THE truth, I said my truth, what I believe, you're entitled to believe whatever you want and I'm not saying that I'm right or always right, everyone has an opinion. I never said anyone is trying to infringe on any of my rights, the staff is entitled to run their site the way they see fit and I as a member am obligated to adhere to the rules.
