DADAROMA new single "「僕はアンドロイド」(Boku wa Android)" release

Recommended Posts

Sounds boring so far...and being the odd one out I liked their shitty closet clown kei more than this look, or at least the pics Yoshiatsu posted on twitter lol.
I wish they'd break out of these lame ass choruses,  or gonna have to hop off the interest train soon.

very surprised by the new look *which i really LIKE* cuz i srsly was already certain their new maxi single's pv will be all in clown look...

also the preview so far sounds pretty good and i bet in the end it will be a heavy song - although still hope they'll release samples for all 3 songs soon so i can decide wether to buy or not to buy...

I kinda like it. It’s nothing great, but the look is good. I’ll reserve harsher judgment until the whole thing Is out.

Can they release something at least  half as good as Oboreru Sakana, Lucid Dream, Ame no Waltz or Zouka to kalashnikov. Everything they release nowadays is bland and really uninspired. Waruii kusuri and ii kusuri were a step in the right direction, why did they not continue on that?

Can't tell that much from that short sample really, but the riff towards the end gives me hope this one might be rather heavy during the verses.

Kinda sad that it has become cool to hate on these guys, they haven't even changed much at all and have always put party songs on each bigger release, the deathcore stuff has always been more of an exception among their songs. More people should check out their latest mini-album and not avoid it because of "The Kinky", it's their heaviest and most consistent release in my opinion and beats the two Dadaism minis easily.

I’m not saying they should release only deathcore stuff, I’m saying I want good songs in general. Songs like Risley Circus, Yume tarareba, tsuki no uta etc, are not deathcore, but they’re really enjoyable.

I have listened to the whole This is live mini album and I didn’t  find one memorable song.

yeah,i'm not even looking for heaviness anymore, just wanted some memorable shit

take everything since dadaism #3 (with some few exceptions here and there) and you feel like listening

to the same thing over and over,it's boring.

That's just not true. They started with a core track, they continued with more core tracks and the jazzy/lighter tracks were just a "once in a while" thing. We all got to know them and appreciate them for their superheavy sound. Then IDK what happened but they decided to go for a sound that's very different from the one they started with, and they adopted it as a regular thing. You can't really blame us for "being mad" over DADAROMA, we learned to love them for their heavy bangers and we're constantly waiting for them to release a superheavy killer tune like in the beginning of their career, but our expectations get turned down constantly...

How is not true when statistically there are only 2-3 of these deathcore songs in their early discography? You have Oboeru Sakana, Ame no Waltz and Lucid Dream, which are three songs out of maybe 9-10 around that time, which were all either the Industrial Rock/Metal style stuff they are still mostly playing or the lighter stuff you mentioned. Dadaism#1 was alright, but it really only had two songs of the style everyone wants to hear, party stuff like "SEX!" existed back then too.

Don't get me wrong, I much prefer their deathcore stuff too and wish they would keep it as their standard style, but I think people are being mislead just because Dadaroma chose these songs for their PVs and built up people's expectations, but in reality their sound has always stayed more or less the same. "This is live" had a deathcore like track as well by the way (the one with the long title and piano), so not much has changed.

I agree that Dadaism#3 was super forgettable though, by far their weakest release in my opinion. Lots of their stuff afterwards was really catchy though, "Pornograph" was great, "Innocent Holic" is really fun and say what you want about "The Kinky", the chorus might be lame, but it's definitely quite memorable in a way.

I don't get everyone saying it's a bland preview, it's actually pretty involved musically and thematically. This preview is also most likely towards the end of the song, and from the sounds of it there's probably gonna be some kind of musical journey from beginning to end, much like what Aru hi, Sekai wa Utsukushii to Omotta gave us. I'm definitely very excited for the single, and hope to hear previews of the other tracks soon.
