[HELP] iTunes: delete from playlist AND library

Suddenly, I can't delete a song from my library while viewing it in a smart playlist. Previously, while looking at a smart playlist, I could shift+del on a song and remove it from my library altogether.

 

Anyone know anything about this? Is this a bug or a "feature"? Am I destined to search through my large library any time I want to delete a recently added song now? ;0;
