JK, yeah, I looked up マイム on my phone's Japanese dictionary, and the translation is indeed "mime." I think Trombe transliterated it as "Maimu" because it's the reading for 舞夢. johnesh 52 Posted August 5, 2014 I think Trombe transliterated it as "Maimu" because it's the reading for 舞夢. Have I missed something? I don't see any reference here to anything called "舞夢". If the title of the single were "舞夢" then it should indeed be transliterated "Maimu" (whatever that means), but it's not, it's "マイム", which should surely be transliterated "Mime".
