I guess I have heard one too many shitty western J-Rock bands. So pleasantly surprised it was neither J-Rock nor shit.

I expected this to suck but it's actually pretty damn good. Big thumbs up 

I've been in a mess of bands since I was like 15 or so (at least when it comes to recorded material - probably countless more that never really did much of anything).

I definitely miss my younger days of touring and being kind of a careless idiot, but being older and more "stable" has its perks, too, I guess. Music has always been my most consistent outlet and the one thing I used to "define" myself for the better part of my life. I feel a bit more disconnected from it now, but being able to do anything at this point feels positive, whether it's recording new stuff or playing a random local show when time permits. Haven't really ever made any money off of it, at least not in any profitable capacity, so I can't much call it a career, but the length of my involvement with it sort of makes it feel like that.

I could have seen myself spin kicking to this live in the basement of some church or VFW hall back in 2009. What an odd trajectory for this band. From crabcore, to VK, back to crabcore.

DIMLIM and anything relating to them just ends up being a huge fucking bruh moment

I do not know you and I am not going to make assumptions about you, but people are trying to get you to analyze your own actions so you can more productively contribute to discussion. I do not think you realize how you come off, but your posts read very contrarian and combative even when you're not being approached that way. There is a difference between defending a fave and ignoring/downplaying any/all criticisms. Criticism can be a good thing - everyone here is trying to show you this in regards to yourself and the band.

Well, it seems like there are two options who this person is:
- a troll - a good one, btw, can feel the vibes of image boards like 4chan.
- a completely ignorant fangirl who is obsessed with defending Lets. Gives me the vibes of that Irkutsk chick who managed to convince Dimlim to come to a town in the middle of Siberian nowhere.
 
Regardless, I like how mods are generous enough to not ban a member who is not adding anything constructive to the discussion.

Trust me we would all love to have a never ending discussion about dimlim but it's really one sided right now. You need to actually try and engage with the community. It won't kill you to mingle with people who have a different opinion in a civilized manner.

That PV is great! Songwriting on all these tracks is really strong - reminds me of everything that got me into VK while not feeling derivative.
