MASCHERA's first album "Akutoku no sakae" (1994) is what you have been looking for if you are fond of the sound created by Kuroyume within its early releases. Songs in "Akutoku" sound almost identical to the compositions of guitarist Shin, so this album won't guarantee you much of a almost perfect reproduction of the aforementioned. Although the lack of a more genuine work, the songwriting sounds pretty decent and neatly executed, praising Takuya's sweet solo work and Michi's strongly dramatic stream of voice.

So, I decided to start digging into Merry once for all. Is there any place where I could find their entire discography into 320 kbps? Thanks 😍

I was always curious about how come the pv for Diaura's "Lost November" got aprox 1.5 million views on Youtube around the time it was released. I mean, Diaura wasn't a bit of the huge band it is today, and even the songwriting is pretty basic in comparison to the levels of excellent Diaura achieved circa "Triangle".
 
In fact, I remember feeling really meh at it by that time; actually got into the Diaura hype a years after when "Sirius" was released.

What's your VK-related guilty pleasure?
 
Mine are the first Malice Mizer songs of the Gackt era: "Ma cherie", "Après midi", and the like. 
 
The compositions sound so amateur, the keyboards feel so overwhelmingly cheesy, and the live performances are so pointless and clumsy... they make me cringe when I think of them too seriously, like "What the fuck was Mana actually thinking" but I can't stop siging them. Damn!

Got fascinated watching early Depeche mode ,sioux,the smiths and other shows from the  90's, they seemed so wild,so vivid and not caring at all. And all these bands were supposed to sound "soft", compared to most of the current western shows I've watched from bands  that intend to look tough, evil and brutal but their performances are just "disconnected" and extremely boring.

A Diaura masterpiece for you people...

After many (many) listenings to DeG's "Gauze", I could moreless figure out which are the sources of the majority of the songs in the album, in terms of styles and bands. For example, "Mitsu no tsuba", "Yurameki" and "Akuro no oka" recall Luna Sea very easily, "Cage" does for X songs like "Rusty Nail", while "304 blablabla", "Zan" and "Mazohyst" do the same for Kuroyume. 
 
But there are still some songs whose arrangments don't fit in any "constelations" of arranagments I've heard before withing and out of the VK scene. "Yokan", "Raison detre" and "Mask"; the only word that comes to my mind while hearing them is "dance punk", but I can't tell anything else on the subject.
 
Any ideas?
 

I finished watching "DNA²", two days ago. Cool anime, fun and erotic in the right ways, "Blurry eyes" is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard and "Single bed" is playing on repeat on my head. Too bad that the studio butchered Katsura's drawing style.

So I had a dream last night that Sakito (Nightmare, JAKIGAN MEISTER) went to my uni and we were friends somehow, so we’re hanging out and I turn to him and say “Sakito is it chill if I become a roadie for when you’re touring as JAKIGAN” and he just looks at me and says “Nah not really” and I just said “That’s cool”, then one of my lecturers came in to the room and she started yelling at him, and he just turned around and said “Suck my nuts” in a strong Japanese accent. I woke up so confused.
 
TL;DR: I dreamt I was friends with Sakito, he was wild

I just watched the entire Kamijo 20th Anniversary DVD "La Vie En Rose" and I don't even know how I feel right now. It feels like I've ascended to another realm. It just amazes me how GOOD Kamijo is on stage. I think I'm feeling my past 12 years of love all at once, since I mentioned before that I had to like him in secret, since my friend would get mad if I even mentioned him without her saying something first (Versailles was the exception because I liked Jasmine). 
 
But oh man, I feel so happy that I watched that. It was a great dvd. I really really hope that he's performing when I go on my trip to Japan, because I NEED to actually experience one of his lives. 
 
He has gained the number two spot as far as favorite bands go. Sorry D'espairsRay, I love you, but the only other band that has ever made me feel this way is D. I just. I can't even describe it right now. But I feel so good. I could feel the love he had for his fans in his music. It's so lovely. Even though this was from 2015 and was pre-recorded, I still felt the love through the screen. Such a weird feeling. 
 
But bless you, Kamijo. I hope I get to see you live one day. ❤️ 

Which do you consider are the most "anthemic" vk songs ever? 
 
For me there are quite a few, but "Cage" from Dir should be in the top of the list.
