Is anyone else doing this? I got super into trying all the new flavors last year, this year I thought I'd try and actually create some. Might they actually taste good on a chip? I dunno, but I'm having fun with it. This is a thread for Video Game music I write. (Rather, I should say video game style.) My style is rather diverse and I don't usually stick to one genre. But if I had to say what I'm good at it'd be ambient/orchestral, rock/metal, and electronic/beats. To kick it off, here's some music I made for a "creepy" point-and-click adventure game at a Game Jam. (You can play the game here. We never finished it so it's quite buggy). For this soundtrack, I drew some inspiration from Akira Yamaoka of the Silent Hill series, particularly this track: Lisa' Theme I wanted to convey a sad yet somewhat uplifting mood to fit the ending of the game. Anyways, hope you guys find something you like.

His "voice quality" has gotten better, but I'm not happy with his execution. His style, especially from Division and on wards,is IMO flat, boring, and just weak. He doesn't back his vocals with much substance and nowadays his melodies just drag on and on.

I totally agree. He's made some progress on his vocals. And I love the Decade performances! Like you said it's awesome to hear the same old songs with better vocals.

I really love disorder. It has that raw, garage band punk sound, it's chaotic yet has its moments of softness, and certain songs have a very Japan-esque quality to them. For me it's this album that defines their sound, the sound I am most in love with. And it's not because it's the first album I heard from them (it was SR, which I HATED on my first (unfinished) listen.) Screw - Xrays the GazettE - Toxic, Remember the Urge, Division And when I buy a CD I always buy the limited edition so basically the GazettE ate my money, pooped it out, and I bought that too. Toxic LE is now 18$ on amazon (allbeit used). Wish I had waited instead of paying the full 60$+ for it... And Screw's Xrays is so atrociously bad that I'm kind of embarrassed that I ever had an urge to buy it.
