I liked versus but I hope it's more varied than that was, too monotonous. But I think the singles hinted at that and are very promising.

Hmmm I'll see if I can make the Taipei date. May be there then. But I wish there could be Eastern US date. >_>

It's weird I used to really like them a lot, it's not that I dislike them now I just am not interested in them at all. I hope they an release something that takes back my interest.

Haha, as much as I kind of agree with this statement and used to 100% agree I actually thought their new album BEAST or whatever was considerably better than their first album/singles. It isn't great or anything but a lot less posery 'were rockstars!!' generic shitfest with a few good tunes.I guess my biggest would obviously be Gazette- not terrible band, but so grossly over-rated. Most undercode/new indie bands people flock to after releasing one single also. Girugamesh. X Japan- urgh

Their old remixes SUCK so bad but their recent remakes/re-recordings of songs are pretty nice. Hydra 666, zan, undecided at least. And their acoustics from MOAB are much better than that from uroboros despite Uroboros owning MOAB in general.

I can't say if I really have a favorite member in LS as I really don't think about that when I listen to them. But I guess if based off solo work I'm going with Inoran. Tourbillion is kinda weak but FAKE?was pretty amazing and his solo stuff is really nice also. Sugizo's the flare stuff I really liked but not quite as into his own solo stuff. J has some good releases but bad ones as well and Ryuuichi not big on(again Tourbillion=no).

Kakera was pretty great. Not as fantastic as previous work but not a letdown at all. Kyrie is my favorite part of the band for sure.

New Taeyang and Big bang singles in same week?? Hells yeah. They're both pretty great but I'd have to say I like I'll be there a bit more. Though Beautiful hangover has a nice MV.

Just because I was blasting a few of their albums earlier and can't believe they're not more popular, La'chryma christi. Some others: Any Full project, Angelo, Sel'm

Monochrome PV got a lot of hate when it first came out but I initially really enjoyed it and enjoy this single even more. The worst part of the criticism I find is the "they're going to Firewall and the new single is heavier so it must be they're turning into Dir en grey" or gazette(wtf?) argument. They sound nothing like these bands. Anyhow The Cry Against... 9/10 Merry can pull this off! I wasn't sure if they could and this music is pretty great. Some people don't like Gara's screaming but I've always been a fan. But I'm someone who loved gekisei and I remember a lot of people hating that. Monochrome 9,5/10 This one is a bit more Merry and love the melody. The Cry Against... / Fleeting Prayer -ambivalence mix- 7/10 Well for being a jrock 'ambivalence mix' whatever those ever are it is not bad. Not something I'll listen to a lot but definitely not bad. It keeps my interest. Overall 9/10

In jrock Luna Sea, BUCK-TICK, and Guniw Tools are all classics to me. Don't sound dated at all!

My female friends get jealous when I'm in drag. This show looks cute but it relies too much on shock 'omg look he's a girl now and so cute.' Still prefer RuPaul's Drag Race though.

Does it make me a heathen for preferring their latest albums to their stuff before hiatus? I don't know what general D'erlanger fan opinion is. I love price of being rosee. Can't wait for new album!

I agree. There's a certain ladder of elitism in jrock/vk, which kinda goes like this: Ontop are the Dir en grey fanboys. They go like this: "We're so cool, we listen to japanese music, and the music is so heavy, and Kyo has so expressive lyrics, and we moved beyond vk, YAY! You all suck." Then come the "heavy indies vk fans". Incidentally, they also look down on DeG fans, although half the bands they listen to are carbon-copies of them. They go like this: "OMG, Diru are such sell-outs, they are so american now, they suck, we're cool because we listen to indies music, and the music is so heavy, and they look so cool, YAY! You all suck." Then come the kote-kei fans (which I happen to like myself, but nevertheless....). They go like: "OMG, all new vk sucks, only old vk is good, today everything sounds the same, but ten years ago they were SO original, we're cool because we listen to old music, we already listened to Diru when they were still visual, YAY! You all suck." (In addition to that there's also the species of "angura fanboy", which is basically a mixture of all 3, except with make-up looking like raccoons, and music that basically thrives on sounding as shitty as possible.) BUT, at least they all agree on something: bashing oshare. I guess everybody need something to look down upon. XD Lol!! This is so true. You deserve a golden star. So many jrock fans have such elitist and shitty opinions. I have lots of jrock bands I hate but I don't really have the energy to go mock them unless they're a band I already like and then start releasing trash. Then I get kind of vocal ^^

Don't avoid diamond, it's pretty good actually but not as good as earlier stuff. Though mar maroon fucking sucks. But the singles since that album have been promising too... So in all, you can really try anything except mar maroon and the singles that fused together to create that monstrosity.
