This whole donation thing is so wrong in so many ways. Firstly, why "donation" straight into Tetsu's personal bank account instead of setting up some kind of crowdfunding like Suji said? This just sounds like dodging legal and tax compliance and smacks of fraud. Secondly, the Japanese gov is offering reasonable grants for all artists whose livelihood are affected by the pandemic. At the very least, this includes millions for venues, so I don't see any reason why the band has to cover the cost of putting up a plastic screen at EACH venue. Thirdly, they say part of the donation is for admin and refunding ticket holders. I'm guessing this means they have not put them into a band collective account and bought business protection insurance but have probably spent most of their sales proceeds instead... This whole thing shows to me that they are clearly incapable of handling any large sums of money.

If this is not the case then the band is just really desperate for money, even at the risk of fraud.

    Because it's idiotic.
They could sell so much material if they wanted to, like, I would pay mad cash for some old live shows or so. Instead they do the bare minimum to get some more cash in.
I know these are dire times for bands, but it's not like DEG has nothing more to offer than one song split into 30+ parts. It's like "here, have some random track, now give us streaming income pls". It's insulting to those who actually wish to support the band and would be willing to.

It seems like they leave the videos there for a while but then I guess they delete the old ones and leave only the summaries. I wish I had been faster enough to save Yuu's guitar videos as well. The summaries are fun to watch too. This one is my favorite because I love this album ❤️.

Same! ;A; I wish I had the chance to see them with Kenichi live.
But, I try to catch their livestreams everyday and tune in as much as I can. They're really relaxing and I love them for the hard work they put in both music and reaching out to fans even during awful times.  Their channel is packed with so much and no matter how many times I watch their videos I find myself enjoying their energy more and more.
I hope we will be able to see them live with Kenichi one day, even if it's just a special performance ;A; ❤️ !!

毒殺テロリスト (Dokusatsu TERRORIST) members have compiled together songs from a 2016 demo CD-R and some other tracks, remastered them, and now made them available digitally as an album titled 新型毒殺那2020 (Shingata dokusatsu na 2020). They reported this would be a one-time thing only, no band revival (it's just something to help ppl pass the time during the virus).

It can be streamed/bought at a wide variety of platforms over HERE

    .

Vocalist Ichirou has also released a digital-only collection album of his own on 2020/06/01, under the project name ドクテロイチロウとおかしな仲間たち (DOKUTERO ICHIROU to okashi na nakamatachi) containing various tracks he did outside of Dokusatsu TERRORIST.

meat got a reaction from cullucoo in How would you define Angura?
My two cent is that angura-kei is a music/ visual/ theatrical exploration of the post war Japanese identity. I think a lot of artists in the Heisei period (post-Bubble and pre-millennium, so basically the 90s), the so-called "lost generation", questioned their place in a post-modern Japan that went through a century of extremes of war and peace. Some found inspiration and identified with the existential anxieties expressed by the counter-cultural movements in the 1970s, led by figureheads like Terayama Shuuji and Shibusawa. And the raccoon people have carried that subversive and transgressive context on to the present time by toying with time: some like the Inugami, Guru guru eigakan, etc. deliberately dress in pre-1945 ways with ghost/ butoh white face paint and sing about folktales and myths, as if to remind their modern audience of an innate Japaneses-ness by digging into the past; whilst the bleep bloop raccoon people, such as Metronome, Shinjuku Gewalt, etc. are trying to reconcile the technologically fast advancing future Japan with the lost identity in the present.

Of course, a lot of raccoon people feel the need to dress like characters from Terayama's films and make nagomu music is probably because many were born around the 1970s and be deeply influenced by all the social upheavels then. But I think it is because of their play on time, by the subversive questioning of the past and future in a transgressive fashion, that I think set angura kei bands apart from other bands that dress in kimono or sing kayoukyoku.

Its the same cassette tape; in the blog entry you linked, the writer stated that she used a 'mystery card' in exchange for the cassette tape. If I remember correctly (from what my friend told me, cos I was unable attend the last day), on the last day of the 6 day gig, there's a special counter for you to change your 6 ticket stubs for this 'mystery card' and what this mystery card is for will be revealed in future. I suppose this "[collector] Tour Extra ~Mystery Day~" (and maybe other gigs during the period?) is where you exchange the mystery card for. Basically forcing you to attend ANOTHER gig on top of the 6 you already attended but its MERRY so whatever hahahaha

However, there is one more cassette tape that was released; the demo version of "SIGHT GLASS"; it can be seen here:

meat reacted to freesia in Hong Kong's Protest for Democracy and Freedom
I think there are still people who don't know about what's going on in Hong Kong. What's going on is not just happening in Hong Kong, but all over the world. Hong Kong is facing China's suppress on stripping off of our freedom and democracy, from little by little to finally revealing its fangs. This is happening to all the places where China's money is involved. The most noticable are China's control on the limitation of creation like Hollywood movies, games, literature, etc.. If we don't fight for it now, we don't want to imagine how it's like to have China fully controlling our city. China's leader, Xi Jinping, is already throwing out bibles from China's churches and replacing them with the book he wrote himself.

Please take a look at this newspage to see what's happening in Hong Kong:
