that's actually a good question... to be honest I don't really have the knowledge about what he composed for his other projects, other than black box and yamu sora, which are nice songs. There's also kiss my way, which was kinda of a solo project, right? And it was really solid, if a bit rough on the edges... It is more or less known that he didn't do much of the heavy lifting composition-wise for chemical pictures, and some decisions there after the original members left are really questionable (the re-recording of black box and praparat, specially).

and now there's lack-co. which I can't figure out what they are trying to do there. whether It's is just  they lacking cohesiveness or it is intentionally too experimental, I don't know (their full album is somewhat okay, tho).

Overall I think he shines when he just focus on his singing, lyrics and performance, but that's just me...
