After going through Dadaroma's discography, it hit me. People, myself included, always cry whenever they release something that is not Oboreru Sakana. The thing is, there are more than enough solid songs in their discography if you are willing to look past the Masturbations and Pornographs.
 
I've gathered a few that stand out to me the most and I hope these will ease your yearning for fishy metal.

You know what makes me feel old? In my head Diaura are still 'kinda a newer band' and I just realized some of those CDs came out almost a decade ago.

Crystal Lake once again leading the charge taking Japanese metal outside of Japan. For this project Spiritbox has teamed up with them as of now we dont know the full details but they have launched a collab merch line and Ryo will be featured in in a remix version of Spiritbox's Holly Roller track. This version will be released on October 2nd and you can listen to a preview below.
 
 
Spiritbox is a Canadian Metal band fronted by Courtney LaPlante former Vocalist of iwrestledabearonce. Spirirtbox has had tremoundous success and their latest releases have been some of their best i would encourage you all to give them a listen.

Ryo is retiring from music. So, Kei has decided to suspend the band activities. They are cancelling all remaining dates of their 「BAROQUE TOUR SAINTS OR SINNERS」 tour. There's a lengthy message from Ryo detailing his reasons for retiring. It seems to be that he's both tired physically and mentally of performing. If someone wants to get into more detail go ahead.
 
This is a major bummer as he's become one of my favorite vocalists since giving BAROQUE a shot a few years ago. I've loved their music.
 
In other news, Kei announced a new solo album last week so he'll be continuing as a musician.

Former Silver-Rose vocalist YOWMAY has restarted the band under the name “Otona no Silver-Rose”. However, YOWMAY has restarted the band with brand new members. Silver-Rose was formed in 1989 and disbanded in 1994. Even until today, the music of silver rose has been respected and loved by many visual fans enthusiastic. So let’s hear about this interesting restart!
