Kaye got a reaction from TheStoic in Dir en grey
I second this tbh. (Though I'd probably start with Vulgar.) I'd known Diru for a while but got into them right before Withering came out. Since it aligned with my music taste at the time it was easy to get into, and from there on they continued releasing things in a fairly logical diru-evolution (along with my own). I've always liked Vulgar as well but the ones before I've never been able to link with. Maybe if I'd gotten into them earlier.

Kaye got a reaction from doombox in Screaming inside can kill. (f.k.a. Sick.) new members and new mini-album release
It's not lighter, his voice just fits music with a touch of VK better than what they're trying to do here. This needs vocalists/screamers of a different kind imo.

I don't really know the previous incarnation of these guys but that music and that vocalist are fighting each other, hooboy.

Kaye got a reaction from CAT5 in POST YOUR LAST.FM ACCOUNT!
I'm sure that bar will fill up a bit more again whenever I crawl out of this pit of metalcore/post-hardcore bands I've been in lately. Followed back!

Recently changed my lastfm to this one here! Currently lots of Architects since I saw them live a few weeks ago. I'm still having a withdrawal.

Kaye got a reaction from zombieparadise in Remarkable J-rock Albums That Turned 10 This Year!!!
Ah, Rentrer en soi and Despa. Absolutely loved Plastic Tree's Ghost as well but the top one will always be Girugamesh's selftitled. While I'd been listening to VK and bands around the genre for years I still believe that was "the one" that got me stuck more than anything. Probably also the first Japanese release I got (since Utada's Exodus album was technically not Japanese)

Kaye got a reaction from qotka in ギルガメッシュ (Girugamesh)
Seems like Satoshi is taking part in a live in February . He's going to be the vocalist of a band consisting of 4 people called Satoshi, properly named "Satoshis".
I liked that "I'm going to sing!" line. Please keep singing.

Kaye got a reaction from Mamo in Show me your Top 8!
"Only" been using this account since September 2013 no matter what the account itself says (the downgrade to new lastfm made the reset date disappear). I usually don't have my all-time top artists show so even I'm a bit surprised with some showing. But here you go!
@CAT5I approve of Aimer.

Kaye got a reaction from Mamo in Why do you still use last.fm?
I've been there for so long now that it's kind of hard not to? + I'm just really stuck on statsthingies. It's somehow too fun to see my own stats and charts change every time.
Tbh, sometimes I want that weekly charts thing back, where you could see how many spots a certain artist had won/lost since the previous week.
