  1. Aw dang. RIP bro. Always hoped there'd be more Oto-Oni someday. That sucks.
  2. Prism

We do not speak of it.

Wow, wat. You can't go wrong with FF 4-9. 6, 7 and 9 are the best JRPG's ever made IMO, without question. Recommended as high as I can recommend something. And in fact this makes me want to start 6 again. Might do that.

Go play Final Fantasy 6 while you're at it. Do it. Me, I decided to finally get around to finishing LA Noire. Disappointing game overall in the gameplay department but the case stories are fantastic.
  5. If they didn't do Dancing Mad or The Extreme I am disappointed. Dancing Mad and The Extreme > One Winged Angel.
  6. Prism

It's alright. To be honest, Sheldon is the only reason to bother watching it.

Natsuki had an oddly original look before. Really can't tell him apart from any other silver-haired veekay guy now. That's fairly lame. I still haven't gotten around to listening to Rouge yet, but I haven't seen many scathing remarks over it, so I'll assume they're still going alright and I'll look forward to this in the meantime.
  8. I like it. Dollis Marry was a pretty awesome band. They should get back together.
  9. Prism

But yeah, I buy stuff I really enjoy and tend to buy new stuff from bands I really enjoy without hearing said new material. Part of it is the collector in me too.

If it's anything like every other single since DIM...
  11. FGfzt98gQRk aoA7tw9brhA Wonderful!
  12. So a 3-track single? Mildly disappointing. It better be fucking amazing.
  13. Prism

Hurts are fucking amazing. The live version of Illuminated they recorded a video for floating around on youtube that I'm too lazy to go find is phenomenal.

PzspqDXmoYY Probably my favourite piece of space ambience. Album is AMAZING as it is but I wish the guy would make a full album of this stuff.
  15. Prism

Even then though he doesn't hold a candle to Peter Tägtgren's original.

The cover is awesome actually. All the references to old albums and members are nice. But yeah, for real about his voice. I only had to watch him completely butcher Eaten from that DVD to know I don't want to ever watch the rest of it.
  17. Prism

I'll admit, I'm very much looking forward to it. If anything, the crybaby tears from stupid metalheads about there being no death growls makes it all the more exciting. It makes sense too, considering Mikael's growling nowadays is just BAD.

So, enjoying Ritual quite a lot. Certainly expected some good things, but I'm liking it more than I expected. Good stuff.
  19. That's the first song of theirs I've liked since Faust. Still has some shitty parts, but overall I sort of enjoyed it. Sono looks like an idiot though. Cringy PV.

Haters gonna hate, but I liked some of Elysium. And I liked Polaris at the time, but now I really can't be bothered with it. Certainly better than both the colossal messes that were the Elements albums (excluding the title track from the first one) and self-titled but definitely not up to the level of Infinite or Visions. I still enjoy listening to both of those every now and then. Kotipelto should stop singing soon though. My god does he sound bad too often these days.

Destroy Erase Improve is the only album of theirs I enjoy listening to.
  22. Just random, here. Since this is a cool thread and generally needs moar. Artist: Lark's Tongue Album: Lark's Tongue Genre: ethereal / psychedelic rock Release date: 2011 Length: 21 minutes Tracklist 1. Tucson, Arizona 2. Follow Your Nightmares 3. Brown Recluse http://soundcloud.com/larks-tongue/sets ... -song-demo Not a lot to say, to be honest. Apparently they call themselves "bird rock" but fuck made-up genre names. It's not something you'll listen to and think it's oh-so-original and groundbreaking, blah blah blah, wah wah wah, etc, etc. But why should it be? Good music is good music, and this is good music. The full demo/EP is up there on soundcloud and the band themselves have it uploaded here so go ahead and give it a go. All 3 songs are gorgeous but my main recommendation is Brown Recluse. 9/10

The thing I noticed I didn't like straight away is the analog sticks being above the d-pad and action buttons. That just feels wrong to me. And the size, of course. I only really liked the idea of it being able to play the same thing on the smaller screen if someone else was to want to watch TV. But at the same time, all my consoles, etc, are in my own room. Really I don't think I'd get one unless it's an alright price (which yeah, I doubt) or it has some good exclusives.

The whole Kinect-ridden Microsoft conference was appalling. Only Tim Schafer made it worthwhile simply just with his presence. And Sony wasn't much better with the 3D and Move wanking. Have to say though, that Playstation branded 3D TV bundle looked really nice. And the price of the Vita is brilliant compared to what was expected. I'm really excited for it. It's all about Mass Effect 3 and Assassin's Creed Revelations though. FUCK.

The American version isn't bad at all. While the original IS better, Gervais is the most unfunny "comedian" on the entire planet. Not one thing that comes out of his mouth is ever the least bit funny or creative. Which certainly says something about the other cast members, and Stephen Merchant's co-writing. I've always found Merchant to be a fantastic comedy writer/actor. The fact that he nearly always works with Gervais though is fucking depressing.
