Yes! XD Finnish itself sounds just awesome but learning it must be pure hell. HIM really should release an album in finnish with the beautiful melancholy of some traditionals.
 
Exactly! <3 Greatest Lovesongs Vol. 666 is their best album till today, it's dark, heavy and the bass is simply awesome. Thou the sam named title track of Venus Doom ist also quite good, especially the parts where Valo sings with a deep voice.

And by doom roots you are talking about The Greatest Lovesongs vol. 666? Because that's without doubt my favorite HIM album and I also think it's without doubt the best. Venus Doom is for me like like TGLv666 version 2, though it doesn't come even close to the real deal.

As much as I love Joy Division it sucks that my life could be a song by them.

Such a worthless piece of bullshit. I said it's ok to pay me off my left vacation if they really need my help at work because one co-worker is sick, but my asshole-boss abuses it by paying off every day and forcing me to work till the last fucking day. Now it's a total vacation of 13 days... and if I don't get a fucking good reputation for my work I'll give my word we will see again in front of the court and I'm gonna kill that soulless dwarf.
It speaks for itself that my new co-workers are already shocked about such a treatment...
 
And Jesus fucking Christ in motherfucking heaven, it's day 11 of 2016 and we already had to bury Lemmy, the Merry tour got canceld for no real reason, my boss is an über-asshole and since it's not already enough to kill this year David Bowie himself died yesterday. What comes next? Zombie apocalypse with Zombie-Hitler and Zombie-Stalin as it leaders fucking this world to a soundtrack done by Justin Bieber? Oh c'mon, fuck off you greedy little bitch of a year.

No specific album, I only have few albums I prefer (I listen to too many bands). Motörhead was one of these bands you know you can't get wrong with 'cause their sound itself is just perfectly fitting. It took me some time to finally got into Motörhead but as usual with bands I need time to get into, it became a deep love, also always respected Lemmy as person for his personality and mind.
 
But the song Whorehouse Blues is more or less special to me, it will always remind me of this fucking hot sommer evening after work, talking to the girl that later became my girlfriend and getting drunk on whiskey (also Aftershock got kind of a good musical pill after the break-up).
 
Anyway, time for Jack Daniel's and Cola to remember Lemmy.

There is no easy way to say this…our mighty, noble friend Lemmy passed away today after a short battle with an extremely aggressive cancer. He had learnt of the disease on December 26th, and was at home, sitting in front of his favorite video game from The Rainbow which had recently made it’s way down the street, with his family.
We cannot begin to express our shock and sadness, there aren’t words.
We will say more in the coming days, but for now, please…play Motörhead loud, play Hawkwind loud, play Lemmy’s music LOUD.

Shieeeeeeeet! An absolute legend, and one of the coolest guys ever. The guy's been a legend for a leat 35 years now, and that says it all. Human beings just doesn't get any cooler than this guy. And on the  bright side, he got another christmas and birthday to his name before he passed.
 

Goddammit... Rest in peace, Lemmy & continue to raise hell wherever you end up in the cosmos.
 

I gave away a almost my whole comic collection once to 2 guys for free. Sometimes you prefer knowing that the next owner will enjoy it as much as you did instead of making good money.
And sometimes people just don't know or care for whatever reason what their stuff is worth. XD
