twitter creates discourse on how problematic the scene is due to the lack of Korean pop inclusion / they find out that 90's bands used swastikas as an aesthetic

just fyi this has started for real, so I'm basically the Steven King of this board

  2. Babykingdom ripped off the only good Daizy Stripper song in their song "Hampire". My guess is both are sourced from the same song, it's just that Hampire's version is super close to how Daizy Stripper performed their rendition.

Original (from the point the video starts at):

Vidoll (uses the romaji spelling of their name... but unlike the Vidoll in the first post actually has some albums)

:S hmm...when I click that, it takes me to their page with the name in katakana and that has their Proposal collection album, Deathmate, and V.I.D.

I think this is because Sword Records has put their catalog on Spotify, which is why older D'espa albums are available now too (but not their Speed-disk or unsigned era).

Some more I've found. Apologies if there are duplicates: I'm going off of the first post in this thread:

    Kaggra,

    Gotcharocka

    Develop One's Faculties

    Razor

    Alice 9

    Shellmy

    BabyKingdom

    Codomo Dragon (katakana page)

    Codomo Dragon (romaji page)

    Rei [Zero]Hz

    Sex-Android

Is there a way to get the first post updated by someone who isn't OP? That way it's not just on them to come back and check.

Obsessively distinguishing between active bands and inactive bands ('active-only' all-time favorites lists, etc). As if a band never existed as soon as they split up. As if defunct bands don't constantly have reunions, and active bands don't constantly split up. etc.

afaik no other genre has a fanbase that cares so much about activeness.

It's always been weird to me how particularly Western bands can go like 5 years without an album and still be just fine, but vkei bands apparently need to churn out a single every 9 weeks in order to pay back their loan shark and get that checki $$$

Hey, I was taking a look at the scans for "Love century pub 2002" and found out that they only cover the six first songs. Isn't that a mistake?

I may have missed a few cards. Let me double check that I uploaded everything, but it’s very likely I didn’t scan the whole thing (I do things in batches sometimes and may have missed those since they were individual flash cards, not an album booklet). I do distinctly remember some of the bands not having a photo, nor lyrics, so there’s a chance the song your looking for doesn’t have any as well.

    also!!!

This just reminded me that I have like 10 CDs scanned and edited. I just have to upload them and add them to the site 😴
