Nnnh, I see it as being about kundalini awakening with lining the chakras. The table represents the lotus flower and the seven chakras are the six chairs+the dome in the middle. Kyo being purple and thus the Sahasrara/crown Chakra and right across the table of him is the empty chair, which based on the colours on their backs and elimination should be in my opinion the red Muladhara/root/base Chakra. Which makes sense since from bottom to top you have red, orange, yellow, green (this is the dome in the middle of the table, Anahata/heart chakra), turquoise, blue to purple. The pinecones symbolising the third eye/the pineal gland.
The whole wearing human skin part being the human society. Appearances are more important than what we are inside. Our hearts are torn into pieces fitting into a mould that the society makes for us. We suppress who we are to follow rules that have been agreed upon to live in a supposedly dreamy reality of cooperation. Thus the MV referencing an awakening and breaking out of that mould to let our true selves out.
The 残響twelve in the lyrics fascinates me tho. I can't think of anything else than it representing the repeating 12 months of the year, doing the same things and being someone you're not over and over again year after year.
This is, of course, all speculation. -
@SubThatSong ehh...WOW. And I‘m still stuck with the Unraveling PV, haha I‘m too dumb for all this Japanese subtlety

it looks like a Cernunnos invocation ritual (hexagram chair arrangement, forest backdrop, pinecones as a reference to a magic circle building in celtic traditions, horned god figure), but looking at the subsequent album's sales and its dubious longevity it probably didn't work out as intended if that was iT.
