@Carmelzors spot on ! ... but to be on point, i was talking in terms of how dir en grey's split up into 2 eras : "visual kei-ish" dir en grey (right until withering?) and the more "metal-ish" dir en grey (from marrow's until now). people used to call them "DeG" or related names for the former, while more simpler "dir" or "DEG" for the latter. i know im thinking too much, that's how i see it. the former era's dir en grey used use "Dir En Grey" or "Dir en Grey" while the latter started to use the "dir en grey" or "DIR EN GREY" (not always tho, VULGAR)
