I'm so here for this! I'm digging all the studio snippets we've gotten on their Instagram. I'm still d y i n g for a release date and tracklist for ANGELS though.
  2. Countdown is fucking garbage, but everything else sounds pretty good. I expect them to be better than those demo tracks from last year and that Time Bomb single.
  3. ""hiatus"" wow, such surprise, much shocking If Tenten starts another band, I'm straight up ignoring them
  4. Seimeisen

The new song is pretty good. Longer than necessary, but better than anything TBS tried to do after OUSIA. Is it just me, though, or does Jin's voice sound worse every year?
  5. Seimeisen

The last album was awful, and lately, I’ve been disliking their singer’s voice, so... it’s okay. Maybe in the future we’ll get a new 2013-DEZERT copy band with a vocalist who can actually sing.
  6. Seimeisen

Fixed Yeah, it didn't have much weirdness, but the songs were still enjoyable IMO

    Ranking so far (still haven't listened to 14): Pre-hiatus: 8 = 7 > 再教育 > 6 = Bluefilm ≥ 5 > 4 Post-hiatus: 11 > 13 ≥ 12 = 憧憬、睡蓮と向日葵 > ≠ > 10 Those TURN mini albums: 4 = 3 > 2 >>> 1 7 would rank lower than 8 if it didn't include my favourite song of theirs, ハイカラ・殺伐・ハイソ・絶賛 TURN-1 is garbage! サイレン without screaming is a felony!!
  8. After two years of single after single, コドモドラゴン (CODOMO DRAGON) will finally release a new album, テグラマグラ (Tegra-Magra) on 12 March, 2019! As with their previous two albums, this one will be released in two types and include 11 tracks. TYPE A (¥3,780) will include a DVD with a music video for the song "DOUBT," and TYPE B (¥3,240) will include one bonus track, as per usual. If you buy both types, you can fill out a form to get a free pamphlet for their upcoming tour "HEADBANGING" No tracklist revealed yet, but if the recent 己龍 album can indicate anything, we can expect appearances from: この世界は終わりだ。(Kono Sekai wa Owari da), 毒虫 (Dokumushi), DIRTY×DIRTY, 脳壊ス。(Noukowasu.), 棘 (Toge), and 想葬 (Sousou). Various stores in Japan will include store-specific bonus items: http://codomo-dragon.net/news_detail/78958 Check out their in-store even schedule, from 12 March to 26 July: http://codomo-dragon.net/news_detail/78957 Their release date in-store will be at TOWER Records in Shinjuku And of course, their album tour, ヘッドバンギング (HEADBANGING) will last from 16 March to 20 July, with a tour finale on 27 July at マイナビBLITZ赤坂 in Tokyo. See their full tour schedule: http://codomo-dragon.net/news_detail/78955 It's about motherfucking time!!

Bummed there won't be a show in SF, I would have been able to do that easily. I might, just might, consider planning a trip to LA in late April for that show...
  10. What?! Why this and why now? I mean, I'm intrigued, but why... Considering the price tag, and the fact that I only really liked Kagerou's albums (and didn't care much for their b-sides), I don't think I'll be buying this one. They're pulling an OZ with this one except y'know, the OZ one was ⅓ the price and was missing 10 old songs
  11. Seimeisen

Almost-neutral for a lot of categories, which I kind of expected ETA, why the hell is the website telling people to subscribe to pewdiepie? 🤨
  12. Seimeisen

The gold cover looks amazing, I just might buy that version. If it weren't for the fact that you have to exchange the voucher for 0 at a live venue, I'd just buy all three types and try to get a copy of 0 by mail. Also, I'm curious, has it been confirmed that M-Card downloads are only accessible in Japan? Has anyone outside of Japan tried redeeming an M-Card on filthy gaijin soil?
  13. Their final album is now available on Japanese digital platforms like OTOTOY, and should be up on Spotify soon (tomorrow probably)
  14. Seimeisen

Available on iTunes JP, mora.jp, etc. Judging by the previews, the new songs all sound good, first and last song sound great especially, and the singles sound unchanged
  15. Seimeisen

反芻 sounds really good, and so does the title track preview! On both of these songs, production sounds much better, they seem to be toning down the background "instruments," and the guitar melodies are in the forefront as they should be. For most of the singles on this album, I really hated how the synth arrangements dominated the songs and guitars were mostly in the background, sometimes inaudible. These videos though, they're giving me hope that this will be a solid album. I'm not expecting it, but I really hope they remix the singles, maybe even re-record a few, especially 月下美人. But I wouldn't hold my breath, re-recording singles for an album does not appear to be in the BP Records formula. But if they want this album to feel like an album that flows nicely and not just a last minute compilation with a mini-album thrown in, they'll have to make adjustments to the older songs!
  16. BPR posted a comment video for the single/b-sides

Here's the tracklist (kanji readings are speculative) 01. (Tenshou Rinne; The Circle Of Transmigration) 07. 私ハ傀儡、猿轡ノ人形 (Watashi Wa Kairai, Sarugutsuwa no Ningyou; I'm A Puppet, A Gagged-up Doll) 08. 婆娑羅* (Basara; Self-Indulgence) 09. 野箆坊 (Nopperabou; Perfectly Flat) 10. 月下美人 (Gekkabijin; Cereus Of Night) 11. 春時雨 (Harushigure; April Showers) 12. 情ノ華 (Jou No Ka; Flower Of Feels) 13. 黒闇ニ惑ウ絵空事 (Kuroyami Ni Madou Esoragoto; Perplexing Pipe Dreams In The Blackness) *TYPE C bonus track This album includes SIX singles, only five to seven songs are new! Also, I'm surprised they didn't make up any words for track titles, that used to be their thing Artwork TYPE A - bottom left TYPE B - bottom right TYPE C - top
  18. It's available on iTunes, recochoku, Mora, and probably other JP-only stores. Fire up your proxies/gift card services, people!
  19. Artwork Track Titles A-side: 想葬 (Sousou; Funeral For Thoughts?) B-side:「没」("Botsu;" "Rejection") TYPE C bonus track: ROTTEN MIND TYPE D bonus track: アートはお前なんかに壊せない (Aato wa Omae nankani Kowasenai; Art Is Something You Can't Kill) Source: MUSIC LOUNGE
  20. Wow, I am hella stoked for this! I don't think I've heard anything like this from them
  21. Uhh, the band is officially on "hiatus" but it's one of those hiatuses that they'll probably never return from like 12012 or Sadie. As far as anyone's concerned, MEJIBRAY is dead. Koichi and Tsuzuku left because of contract whatevers and turned into j-pop fuccbois who are basically exiled from the Japanese entertainment industry.
  22. Seimeisen

    fixed
  23. What?! No! I just started liking them this year! Not cool!
  24. I actually agree. I'm not expecting to be blown away, but 詩踏み set my expectations very low, so I think I'm just really excited 'cause nothing I've heard yet sucks. I think I'm more excited to hear the re-recordings though, so I'm still waiting impatiently over here... *tries to remember how long it took ARCHE DISC 2 to leak*
