There’s a reason why Yoin is one of the best songs Gazette has done in the last 7-8 years. Ruki didn’t fucking write it. 

Im majoring in Medical Management, 50% of that is Medicine, the other half management. I'll probably become the CFO of a Hospital(more likely his assitant lol) when im done. Fits me, because ive volunteered in the medical field/ambulances since i was 16.

Dont worry about what others may think about you. Its your life, and its short. Fk them.

I think that rumours, wether they may be true or not, say something about a persons characteristics and circumstances, which is why i read them, to gain knowledge about someone/something that interests me. I dont participate in keeping the mill going tho, im a lurker when it comes to rumours.

Went to a Japanese tea ceremony sort of event. Started off with miso soup and noodles with a chrysanthemum flower on top. Later on, we had a bunch of traditional sweets, including sweet potato and chestnut flavored ones. Chestnut tastes like water, but the sweet potato one was DElicious. Also dango with warm sweet soy glaze.

Naoki introduced us to some blonde guy with long hair that ran away from home and started hosting. Well, that was a few years ago.
i recently re-watched the video only to find tons of comments reffering to the blonde guy as "Roland". So i looked up the usual host forums.. AND HOLY FUCK THIS GUY BLEW UP LIKE THE BOMB ON HIROSHIMA.  (His Instagram for reference) Dude is getting hyped all around the forums and is basically the number 1 Host in Japan right now, and he even got an advertisement deal with Yamaha. Well, he certainly behaves like it too.

It greatly amuses me to see men have to dress up and put on tons of makeup, in the way that normally only female performers have to...
(even if they have to be super photoshopped to look decent)
 
But most of all, I like how the music can be so different from typical western pop music you'd hear on the radio. I'm sooooo sooooo sick of neutered mass-market easy-on-the-ears songs with pitch perfect singers. I like flawed vocals, painful screams, dissonance.. the contrast between growls & pretty melodies that some bands do very well. I also love the.. aesthetics of the Japanese language when sung, and it's always a special treat when it's contrasted with the occasional bad Engrish line.

How it inspiring it is! because see grown ass men look super feminine while pulling it off looking un-strange and sometimes hot made me view the world and made me more comfortable with myself.

My main issue with the visual kei scene isn't really represented in the options here, and it's something you generally get more in touch with once you get to Japan and get to experience the scene.
Firstly, the fact that a large majority of visual kei musicians more or less openly admits they don't have any artistic or personal integrity, they don't care what they produce and they don't care that their sound is exactly like every other band out there, because they know that as long as the members are pretty enough there WILL be fans, and they WILL pay you money for "company" and "favors" so that you can survive comfortably and keep rehashing the same song for a couple of years until you feel like calling it quits and do something more worthwhile with your life, or more likely, go into full time hosting business now that you have a decent circle of clients already.
 
This sort of leads me into my second issue and it's the bangya culture. It's generally really vile, and the way the girls not only talk about the musicians but also each other is quite disgusting. If the bangyas decide that a member has done something they do not approve of, that doesn't live up to their perfect ideals that they hold them all to (because god knows the fangirls don't live up to any of them) they can easily start enough shit to cause a band to break up or force a member out of the band. The issues doesn't end there though, because the few foreign bangya that exists generally adapt to this mentality and lifestyle too. They openly shun other foreigners who dare attend the lives of "their" band and ruin their "specialness", they participate in this completely daft saizen system where a designated person basically decides who gets what spot at a concert so everyone can enjoy playing ten year olds doing the "you're not allowed to play with us"-games... And the obviousness of what really drives people to be fans of these bands become so apparent when they get to this level, and it's certainly not the music.
 
To be honest, in a lot of ways I never realized how bad this was until I got there and could see it all for myself, and that's despite a 13 year stint in the scene by now.

Sorry I haven't responded to anyone I've been super busy, I'm finally kinda on track with it all and less stressed. Thank you all so much for the advice, I'll take it all on board!

Just had my first driving lesson and it went a lot better than expected, I even feel energized afterwards now! It was a lot of fun, next time on next Saturday.

Hey, im the new guy here i guess  
Im 22, from germany and into J-Music for the last 12 years. I was kind of active in the german V-Kei scene back in the day (2010-2015), but lost touch with most people since i moved to the other side of germany. I want to get in touch with the scene again and hope to get to meet new and old faces here. When im not busy with university im into cooking, drawing and working on japanese cars. Hope we get along

Yeah, you missed the difference between being interested in a band and their music and being interested in the band members and their personal lives.
I wrote "radically invested" for a reason. Being invested in the band to the point of fetishizing its members is definitely no normal fan behaviour.
Or would you say that wondering if Toshiya was in D+L or GOSICK first is the same kind of interest as wondering if he'd bone me after their show?
 
And since you're not the first to mention the 6th member thing, it's something the band called their fans in the past, as far as I'm aware.
Besides, it's long gone from my signature.
 
I think it's more about the where, when and how.
