All of you still working, please continue to take good care of yourself and your mental health. Stay safe out there. For all of you who are staying at home I hope you're able to take this time to recharge and discover your passions again or learn something new. Even if you haven't, that's okay too because everyone handles the stress of this all differently. Taking care of your mental and physical health is most important and sometimes that means taking a step back and shutting down for a bit. I hope that all of you who have been kept from love ones are able to see them soon. You're all so strong and we are all doing the best we can in such a weird time in the world. Praying for everyone! Or if you're not in to that, I'm definitely sending you positive vibes.

I've been listening to bands/artists that I've slept on or have been meaning to get to (mainly on Spotify)~ Also, trying to catch up on the backlog of videogames on the Switch and PS4, lol.

I am! I preordered the special edition Switch for it. It's a shame you couldn't get into it tho, but I guess ACNH isn't rly for everyone. From what I've seen it can be kind of divisive because of how slow-paced it is lol. And sure thing, we got some practice nails so I can show them here when I'm done!

@Gesu are you playing ACNH? ahaha. I also got a switch as soon as i was laid off. But I for some reason... can't seem to get in to it like everyone else. I also think the switch screen just messes with my eyes because I get really sick to my stomach after I play for more than an hour. OOO Nail courses, please document your journey, I'd love to see what designs you make!

I got a Switch on March 20th so I've been playing that every day. I also started a nail art course recently which is obviously having to take place from home over Microsoft Teams but it's a lot of fun~

For real though, 𝒶𝓈 𝒶 𝑔𝒶𝓂𝑒𝓇, I always found any kind of cheating discourse involving single player games to be strange. If it doesn't effect anyone but you, why should you care? Casual games are meant for self-satisfaction without measure to your gaming peers. If you are satisfied by your efforts to achieve some extrinsically meaningful digital object, then so be it. If you are satisfied by merely having the extrinsically meaningful digital object, then so be it. Enjoy that aspect of self satisfaction; I personally like a breather every now and then. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

As for people getting jealous of other people's islands, the thing that I find with simulation games like AC is that it's meant to be played at your own pace and that the fun is largely in the journey, not the destination. I'd get bored of the game real fast if I started playing it one day only to find my house, character and island were already exactly the way I wanted them with no further developments to make.

Everytime someone talks about time travelling, someone has to comment about 'cheating'. I get that you want to keep your playthrough 'pure' but at the same time, a lot of people time travel because their real lives are hectic and maybe they wanna get those time sensitive events. 

I time travel one day at a time, then go back in time. But that's me.

Seriously? There's some for even this kind of game?...Don't they know people have been time traveling since the original one...I can't imagine finding any reason to be angry around one of the most casual and relaxing games to exist aside from like...plant simulator lol.
