  1. I would just like to say "Azaeroe" and leave it at that for a laugh, but there's more I wanna say.

I was here for just over two years and they were a wonderful two years. Until my WiFi mishaps, I actually managed to log in every single day! Usually when I join a new site I get bored of it quickly but not here. I spoke to some awesome people (and some not so awesome, but they made me laugh), learnt a lot and got many new interests. I'm on my phone outside a closed shop that fsr still has its WiFi going and my hands are cold so I'll keep this short and sweet but it really was an amazing experience being here. Thank you all! ❤️

  2. As of today, the UK is back in lockdown. I'm sick and tired of all the panic buyers over here, tbh. I get buying things you need that you'd buy anyways shortly before lockdown starts but really, is there any need to buy 18 packs of toilet roll two whole weeks before they're gonna arrive!? Essential stores are still open so it's not like you're gonna run out forever. Selfish idiots like those are why no-one can get any online orders through. There's literally never a free slot because people feel like they have to guess what they're gonna need weeks from now and just buy as much as they possibly can even if they're never gonna use it. -_-

Also, schools are still open for some asinine reason. I really don't get why Boris Johnson thought it'd be a good idea to keep them open instead of opting for online classes like before but what are ya gonna do 🤷‍♀️

As for Christmas, my close family and I have concluded that none of us are buying presents this year. We're all okay with that given the circumstances (and given that I'm the youngest member of my close family and I'm twenty, so it's not like there are gonna be any tears over no presents), but it's gonna be weird. I hope I can see them this year. My grandma sounded very certain when she said I wasn't gonna be alone this Christmas but... can we really be sure?

My aunt just called and said she's having to work from home for the next twelve weeks. I know it's quite a while but honestly, twelve weeks isn't as long as I had expected. Maybe things will get better sooner than I thought... I hope so, anyways.

    Well that didn't fucking happen

  3. I love children but I don't want them. I'd say I'm quite motherly and I hate to see children upset, and I've been told I communicate with them very well and they seem to like me. I've tried to get jobs at nurseries before because I think it's something I'd be good at. I've never actually wanted any of my own though, and that's the way it's going to stay. When I say I've never wanted them, I mean I've never wanted them, not since I was a kid, not ever. I always got told "oh, you'll change your mind one day, I did" by my mother, and honestly, it hurt that she didn't believe me. Obviously kids can't be expected to make massive decisions at that age but I still don't see the need to be a contrarian. That, and considering my mother later told me she would never have had me if she could go back in time (and she sure as fuck showed it as well), I saw the effects of having children and regretting it first-hand and I would never want to do that to a child of my own.

There are many reasons why I don't want them. I'm super ambitious and having a kid would get in the way of me doing everything I want to do. I'm very independent and I don't see me devoting my life to someone else. In the same vein, I'm quite content not having a life partner so the chance of me even finding someone to have a kid with is slim. I also don't like the idea of living with someone else because it would mean I couldn't just go home after a bad day and have my own space. I'm not the biggest and strongest person in the world and I don't deal well with pain so childbirth sounds nightmarish. I had a difficult birth that made me frail as a baby so there's a chance I could pass something like that on. I come from a massive family so it's not like my bloodline's gonna die out anytime soon if I don't have kids (and for the record, one of my twenty cousins gave birth earlier this year). I lived with a few families when I was a teenager and it taught me I'm not the most family-oriented person. The list goes on.

I know a lot of people would disagree with me on this but if I ever got pregnant, I'd have an abortion, no question. The closest I could ever get to having a child would be adopting a child I already knew because they couldn't live in their current situation, but what are the odds of that happening?

Ooh, cool! Yeah, the artwork is gorgeous and the story is really good~ I love how mischievous Kuroyuki can be and how hilarious (and handsome, lol) Goemon is. Whose route(s) have you played so far? ^^ I ended up really liking Gekkamaru, haha. I think I'm a sucker for those types of characters XD

Aw, thanks~ ❤️ Haha, it seems to be XP And I love yours, too! I was surprised by how much of a loveable dork Mineo turned out to be  :P  His route was super funny and light-hearted; gave me the fluffy feels all over, haha.

I haven't got onto a route yet as I don't yet have that much time on it. That'll change soon tho, don't worry haha X) I like all the characters so far and Gekkamaru does seem super sweet ^_^

Thanks! Mineo is just the cutest, isn't he? I was also very pleasantly surprised :D

Recently been on an otome game binge, replaying some older ones and newer ones that I missed over the years (Hakouki, Code Realize, Collar x Malice, Nightshade, etc.) ~ I forgot how beautiful the artwork can be in these games; it's always such a treat! Not to mention the voicework is always superb.

Nice! I've been playing Nightshade recently and it's really impressed me so far. I'm not too far into it but I really like Kuroyuki at the moment! Although, Goemon is also tempting lol. Also, I love your Collar X Malice pfp~ :D looks like CXM pfps are becoming a trend here! Might change mine soon haha

  6. I can't stand being twenty and never having had a paid job in my life. I've been looking for an apprenticeship lately cuz I thought that might be a bit easier to find than a proper job for the time being but of course, they either don't get back to you if you apply or they require you to have prior experience (which is fucking ridiculous because the whole point of an apprenticeship is to get trained in sth while making some money, as opposed to being fully qualified). My family keep telling me not to feel bad but it's difficult not to when I remember people in high school who weren't even adults who could somehow juggle school work and paid work (bear in mind I went to a hardass high school and it was difficult to even juggle school work with leisure time). It just makes me feel super inadequate and I feel like I'm gonna be on benefits for the rest of my life. Sometimes I consider just forgetting work altogether and trying to become an artist or singer or whatever so I don't have to go through getting rejected/not hearing back from an employer again but I know that wouldn't be sensible. The stagnation is making my insomnia worse to the point where I'll get a good night's sleep maybe once a month. Given how fucked 2020's been in general, I doubt it's gonna get any easier from here.

  7. European food has to be my favourite. I love pasta dishes so I eat a lot of Italian food. I also have a massive sweet tooth and Europe tends to produce a lot of sweet food like ice cream and chocolate, so that appeals to me. Also, on the subject of chocolate, I will forever hold the belief that Swedish chocolate is the best and not Belgian lol. I also really like central American food and Indian food but I have to be careful with that because I'm a total spice wuss so whatever I eat from those countries has to be as mild as can be.

  8. I mostly just use my laptop, although I do browse Google news a little on my phone as well just to see if there are any upcoming games and whatnot I might be interested in.

Also, call me crazy, but I've never actually understood how people can browse at length on the toilet without feeling like doing their business and getting out is the top priority in that moment. I'd feel kind of icky sat on a toilet for ages on my phone instead of just sitting in my room. Plus, I'd be too worried about dropping my phone in the toilet.

  9. I'll make an effort to check out every new band I see here, even if few manage to hold my interest. That being said, I guess I have higher expectations for bands with members from bands I love. Usually when I've found out a musician I like has joined a new band/used to be in a different band and checked them out, I haven't been disappointed at all, although there have been exceptions. Like I said, new bands will always get a chance from me so even if there are members from bands I don't like so much, I give them the benefit of the doubt because the way I see it, they might be in a new band because they wanted to try something new so I don't think I can ever truly know what to expect.

  10. My boredom's been giving me insomnia lately so I keep waking up after about four or five hours and having crazy dreams when I manage to get back to sleep. I was doing alright last night/this morning until I woke up from a nightmare about that video of that pufferfish eating that carrot and going "augh". It was... weird. I just remember that pufferfish and then shaking my head vigorously until I woke up and conked out again. Hopefully this'll go away if/when I can find a job/apprenticeship. 🤔

  11. You can't tell me Yuri from Fire Emblem: Three Houses wouldn't be a bandman if he were real

    He's even got purple eyeshadow.

Speaking of games, there are more than a few characters in The World Ends With You who have a kind of VK/psuedo-VK look although I'm not sure if that counts as unexpected since the whole theme of the game is Shibuya youth culture.
