nope, i think production and mv issues are enough to call this whole thing a mess w luckily, because of previous outstanding performance people still trust them, but if they fuck up something else in the near future i'm afraid people might start loosing interest in them...i hope it wont ever happen tho

Idk the production might've been a miss but I legit think the songs itself minus Tokyo are all super solid

idk, nothing against diru but I could think of several bands that I'd like to see play a gig or 2 here before them.

I've been to 3 of their appearances here in the states and most of the time they are hard-pressed for time and rush through the songs or the crowd just isn't respectful enough and I think they do wanna leave ASAP so they half ass the performance.

Their house of blues gig in 2011 was nice tho.

Oh ya absolutely same, I just think outside of random con shows theres only a handful of bands who'd actually your overseas 

first best album and now best newcomers huh ww i hope we have something exciting to expect from this year yet! no one has caught my interest except hueye so far. they need to work on variety and uniqueness of their instrumentals imo, but i think they are fully capable of meeting my expectations〜

hopefully he improves on harsh vocals but besides that i think theyll be fine moving forward

Wildshit man, I'm not sure I've heard anything about the members. but being acquainted with someone like Mamo theres got to be some similar characteristics otherwise why would you stick around someone that long. The scene doesn't pay that well. 

i dont know anything abt mamo and tbh dont care too much, and i also don't remember what i thought of their earlier works, but i ended up having only one of their songs in my playlist (波瀾万丈、椿唄). i should try them out again later. speaking of their latest releases, both full length and erogro, although there were really good moments i always felt like it's not enough. as if they played safe not to sound too edgy or something. maybe it's for that versatility you're speaking about idk.

i don't like r-shitei because they sound like you gave generic a voice and a $15 walmart gift card

gossip is my favorite because it could be emo as fuck sometimes and I fuck with that kind of music the most, but Verxina being messy is over the top is exactly what draws me to them as well. to each their own

Haha, five stars for your perfect description of the VK genre. There's great gems, and then there's questionable ones where you're wondering where the hell they even came from, lol.

Also like @Gesu said, I think it's nice to be able to express your opinions on MH and not get completely flamed or be treated like utter trash for it (Thinking of places like YouTube...)  

@monkeybanana4 I'm getting Vietnam flashbacks to a YT comment war on MEJIBRAY's Eiki PV that started when someone said she hated VK because it's "gay and the bois look like gurls". When people told her she was being ridiculous, she said and I quote "What if I said that I HATE visual kei?" and I think she got disappointed when everyone said they wouldn't really give a shit. God, yes, I agree. So many both great and shitty bands coming and going. And I love the forum because you can just say x band sucks ass and you won't get 20+ butthurt fangirls demanding you get banned from the group lol

Well, if you don't like "over the top cathy choruses"...you might have picked the wrong genre to listen to  plenty of those, here, in VK

maybe but theres something about dexcore were it just sounds like every metalcore band i listened to from when i was 11-18 and i just cant do it anymore 

I don't usually talk much about what I dislike anymore but I feel the same. I think it sounding more west style metal is why, like you said. That and major key or 'catchy chorus', I skip that in all songs unless it's very short. But I'm also someone who can almost only listen to minor key.

(Engrish I hate too if it's corny but I can tolerate it in certain circumstances.)

So it's like a triple threat of annoyances lol
