Ooh, nice! I love visiting temples and shrines. I believe there are some temples/shrines in Tokyo to see. The most famous one is the Asakusa shrine. There's also a famous shrine in Harajuku called the Meiji-jingu Shrine. (Unfortunately, I'm not sure about the furisode ^^;)

Yes! Akihabara and Ikebukuro is like anime heaven XD So much anime goodies there, lol.

Oh, that's awesome! If you can, you should check out a taiban (where multiple bands play on the same day at the same venue). Those are a lot of fun ^^ You can check out concerts dates for when you'll be visiting Tokyo. The link is in this thread.

Don't forget to go to Brand-X, Little Hearts, Zeal Link, and PureSound (similar to Closet Child) They are all visual kei CD stores that are in Tokyo and a must see for VK fans, lol. Brand-X is in Ikebukuro and Zeal Link has a branch in Shibuya. Also, I think many VK-related clothing brands are located in Harajuku if you haven't seen it yet.
 
There's so much to do in Tokyo  What kinds of sights/things are you interested in seeing?

❤️ They are so lovely. I love Ruiza so much, and he always looks so handsome out of his costumes and without makeup. And Kamijo is always good looking too haha. 
You're welcome! They're not very good cuz I took them with my phone, but once I get a scanner maybe I'll scan them cuz I want the Ruiza images for icons and such. ❤️ 

Awesome! I just saw it on Twitter and the pictures are lovely ❤️ Ruiza looks so cool leaning against the rail, and Kamijo appears as great as ever with his fabulous blonde hair xD (Thank you so much for taking pictures of it! Love gazing at these photos ^-^)

Nice! I always love the Rock & Read magazines. It has lots of nice pictures of the artist especially if they're in color, lol (I noticed Kamijo and Ruiza are right next to each other on the cover xD)

Yup, same here! Definitely going to try to get a ticket when the pre-sale opens up. Wouldn't want to miss hearing KH music being played live ^^
 
Although, they didn't say anything about seating. I wonder how it'll work this time 🤔 (Last time, they had a huge detailed outline of how seats were going to be divvied up in advance)

@platy I felt the same way when I heard them play Roxas's theme. So many feels 😭 They also played Xion's theme as well, which was super sad! Ugh, the whole concert was emotionally amazing ;w;

Yes I can't believe I didn't even know about it!! I saw them perform Roxa's theme in a video and I already know I'm gonna be crying for the whole thing. 

I've actually seen billboards for this for their show in Boston. It's been so long since I've actually played a KH game that I don't even remember what a lot of the music sounds like lol

It's such a melodically, beautiful song! I (now) need to check out this band XD

TMR already has such a great voice. Adding Atsushi in the mix is just double awesomeness. And the "Dress" song is great as always!

I felt the exact same way when I first got back into visual kei last year, lol. I also felt inundated seeing all the new artists/bands who I didn't have much idea about x_x;
 
But MH is really good at posting about new artists and their releases, so hopefully you'll be able to find some new amazing bands to listen to soon ^^

Same here! It’s hard to find others who like Jrock let alone VK where I live. It’s comforting to know we’re not alone in our interest ^^

I did get to see D'espairsRay live! I saw them twice! They were wonderful. Karyu is so tall haha

Sadly, I only found out about D'espairsRay after they disbanded. But I'm thoroughly enjoying their songs.
 
I think Versailles released a mini-album in 2017 with a temporary revival...?

I absolutely LOVE the song Tree! It's so upbeat. There was a live video of them performing it on youtube that I saw once, and they were JUMPING up and down and it got me SO pumped! 

Ah, thank you! Yes, I miss them so much as well ;w; They were one of my favorite bands back in the day. (They still are, though. Who am I kidding? Lol.) They created many great, memorable songs. Do you have any favorite songs by them?

Well it also doesn't help that I'm really into like....two bands that I'm still actively buying merch for, that being Dir en grey and D. lol.  I have no idea who all these new bands are, it makes me feel so old. Almost every band I listen to has disbanded.
