@nikuman I hate being touched by people I'm not emotionally attached to, so I just run away and started to cry when I got home. It wasn't the first time, the first place in my personal ranking is a really awful situation when I was kissed by a drunk host and he was trying to touch my bra while I was too shocked to run away...

also im surprised when i still see vkei/ old school looking hosts. once i checked on one of those host ranking sites out of curiosity and the top guys were all pale dudes with bowl cuts

Rio cosplayed Nezuko. In the manga and in the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba , Nezuko has a bamboo to cover his mouth  because she's a demon. She's not eat humans and not she's not suck blood. That why. 

@platy most are students, which gives them more time to spend on bands. University in Japan seems to be a bit more lax compared to grade and high school, or even overseas universities. Some are sexworkers, a handful are housewives, a lot of those who work (like me) are 100% devoted to the band outside of work, so they don't have to split their time and money between the band and dating elsewhere/other hobbies. Due to time/money restrictions most don't follow nearly as many bands as western fans do, but devote their time to 1-3 bands. I know a lot work in places where you can exchange shifts with co-workers and such, allowing for more flexibility than a 9-5 job.

In general, the brands, magazines, stores for "rockish"/"gothic" vk style (not the extreme costumes) changed/vanished completely in the last 3-4 years I felt. At first everywhere stores changed towards a more colorful/"hip hop" look and since 2-3 years K-Pop Style. And that is what I felt I could looking at people especially in Harajuku. The only store l feel is left is Civarize and even that is more miss than hit lately for me (with the renewal of 109mens so many cool stores closed and change to such a bad style in my opinion..).

Its just what japanese girls/boys like these days I guess. In Harajuku since 2-3 years you see more and more people that just look like what I imagine K-Pop Style looks like.

I thought that, just like drag, VK left "free interpretation"...

It looks like an "indefinite hiatus", a.k.a. probably never coming back.

@saiko I am sure as time goes on even "the stuff that matters" will become rare. For some reason japanese bands aren't really good with archiving or conservation of their stuff, already there are so many old releases from the 80s and 90s that don't have any reprints, won't ever get one and thus are likely to become rare. I actually wonder what happens with many of the masters, do japanese labels withhold them from bands and the public,  like some western ones did? (like Universal Studio, until the place where they stored all the stuff burned to te ground and a lot of media is now forever lost)
 
I generally have this feeling that a lot of the media that we consume nowadays is fleeting and ephemeral and will not last as long as some other art from previous eras.
 
Edit: also I know you meant the download links and not so much physical releases, but even dl links will be gone. I can't see mediafire still existing in 2080… 

I hope our government will uncover the fact that people are dying in the hotels or their own houses. There's no free beds in hospitals since mid April and government said "if you feel sick please move to the nearest hotel"🤫

@BrenGun japanese don't care at all, we thought to go out for few hours two weeks ago for the first time and the first thing we saw were tents and crowds in the park :'D families with children, without masks. It was really HARD to find a place without people so we walked like 1.0km to stay away from the crowd. There's also nothing about social distance when we're talking about rush hours, the main stations and trains are crowded as always.

No, they don't have any authority to enforce a lock down even when declaring a state of emergency 😧 so now it's up to whoever is in charge of each prefecture to keep being like "PLEASE REFRAIN FROM GOING OUTSIDE EXCEPT FOR THE ESSENTIALS LIKE GROCERY SHOPPING!!! PLEASE STAY INSIDE!!!" lol
 
yeah for sure. i wanna avoid going out as much as possible unless if it's buying food. this thing is only until may 6th tho and my appointment is only a few days prior so we'll see. i'm pretty sure it's going to get extended into may though. there's no way things will get better in japan in under a month.
