      @Jigsaw9What would you consider Gilles de Rais? They feel like a precursor to VK to me, I mean they released their first album under Yoshiki, so I guess you can't say that, contemporaries maybe? J-Rock, VK? It's too upbeat to be goth imo.

      I'm just glad that protesters are singling out the rioters and ANTIFA trying to cause problems and create a confrontation. I was thinking of moving to Portland, but sure as hell not anytime soon, downtown Portland is destroyed.

      I can understand that they want their own identity and history and to not be lumped with vk. I'm sure Japanese goth probably came to Japan due to the import of German goth, much like how Japanese hip hop came from importing from the US in the 80's.
