***Under Construction! Please do not post until I am done. Organizing 3,950 photos here XD*** Welcome to the Miyavi Image Gallery. This gallery was once called MYV_Pics and was housed on GreatestJournal, then moved to LiveJournal, and is now finding a third home here on Monochrome Heaven. These images were gathered many years ago, and currently range the years of 2002 to 2010. While I am not a huge fan of current Miyavi (and no longer gather images of him), I felt that I would be doing the Japanese music community a disservice if I allowed these pictures to be lost, so I have painstakingly moved almost 4,000 of them from Photobucket to Imgur, and have even added a few new ones that never made it to the LiveJournal gallery. Also, I have 4 magazines' worth of scans that were originally tagged to not be reposted. These will be put in a separate post. It's been 10 years or more since they were originally uploaded, so I'm thinking the original scanners might be okay with a repost now? If not, if they're here and want them taken down, I will do so (originally the gallery linked to the posts for these images on the community Miyavi_Daily, but with LJ being a ghost town now, I didn't think that would work here). That all being said, enjoy: Official Photos and O-re-sa-ma.com Images CD Scans Trading Cards, Stickers, Photosets, Postcards, and Flyers Calendars and Fanclub Magazines Photobooks, Tour Books, and Pamphlets Blog and Webcam Images The Beginning of Neo Visualizm Tour Live Photos Other Live Photos Arena 37C 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, DX, Specials

Yeah, I've heard that about tinypic. I'm currently in the process of grabbing everything from the photobucket (thank goodness for a cheap google chrome extension that's making getting everything very easy XD), and then I'll get to work putting everything up on imgur, then in a gallery here ^.^ While I'm not really a fan of Miyavi's newest stuff, I was a huge fan back in the day, so I have a lot of stuff from pre-2010 hanging around, and I wouldn't want that stuff to be lost to the community as a whole with photobucket being dumb and megaupload being long gone.

Thanks, Suji. I'll take a look at imgur. I've been using tinypic, but I'm not sure how long they keep images, so it may not be good in the long run for a gallery.

So, I wasn't sure if General or Words and Images would be the best place to put this interest check, so if the mods would like to move it to a different board, please feel free. In any case, I was looking through the galleries and noticed that, other than a 2011 live, there is no gallery for Miyavi images here yet. Back in the day, on LJ, I was the owner and maintainer of MYV_Pics, an image gallery for Miyavi which had a ridiculous number of images (both from my own collection and from images I had gathered over the years). The gallery itself is rather defunct at the moment, since all images are hosted on photobucket, and I'm sure we all know what's happened there, but I still have all of the images and have access to everything that is uploaded to the Miyavi_pics photobucket. So, this means that I could, if there is interest, reupload all of those images to a gallery here. Images on the photobucket range from the beginning of his solo career until 2009. So, what I want to know before I take on the task of transferring almost 4,000 pictures is: is there any interest in me doing so (or are people rather over Miyavi at this point), and if there is interest, which image hosting site should I use?
