  1. Whenever I listen to the Doom metal remake of Tsumi to Batsu by DnG I feel like Kyo should form a third band with the same Doom sound, killer riffs and no clean vocals at all, like a Japanese version of Hooded Menace. Would be a dream

Kiryu's music is already so saturated that every track has moments of other tracks, which always gives you that "already heard this before" feeling. But I'll always check their stuff cuz they're a special band for me.
  3. Been learning and trying how to "reboot" myself. The process is hard ,but I intend to become a new person.

  4. It feels good when you simply abandon your"bad habits" for a few days and realize that you're no longer locked inside your own head.

  5. it's completely naive to say to someone with low self esteem something like "oh,it doesn't matter the way you look".No,it does, and people are obsessed with it,obsessed with looks. We live in a superficil culture, with  a superficial generation.

Didn't even listen yet and I'm already entirely sure that it's going to be MILES away from the insulated world.

That's how kpop should sound like. Kyuho is a revolutionary. https://youtu.be/eT8A4kzA4M8
  8. New Madman's Esprit MV is fuckin killer. These guys are carrying alone the Vk scene in South Korea

There is nothing to carry in Korea. But Madmans Esprit deserve more love.

I just started to spread it with my current avatar!!! They rock and are the only Korean act I really listen to (excluding BoA pre-2010)

  9. Well, that's a lot of dates, and honestly ,I see them as a formal band already.Hope they leak at least one track at one of those events, cuz I don't wanna wait till the middle of the year to see what this is about. I have the feeling that their sound won't be too different from what KTK used to sound like...
  10. Whenever I watch videos about executions,I repeat it many times, cuz there's something in it that I can't understand. And it's hard to put it into words

You mean like the point when the human being turns into a lifeless piece of meat? I think there's a certain part of death that is naturally incomprehensible to us...

@VESSMIER Exactly. Makes me remember that I'm nothing.

  11. Manji 卍

Honestly I'd rather have one single with one exclusive b-side track plus live tracks, just like Kaika, but i think the consecutive MV's is a nice way to keep the hype train going on throughout the months till we grab the whole album
  12. Manji 卍

    this is epic lol
  13. Manji 卍

Oh, Keisuke composed that track...now all the "technical" differences are explained, but he's good.So i think we are yet to see something from the new guitarist. Excited.
  14. Got fascinated watching early Depeche mode ,sioux, the smiths and other shows from the  90's, they seemed so wild,so vivid and not caring at all. And all these bands were supposed to sound "soft", compared to most of the current western shows I've watched from bands  that intend to look tough, evil and brutal but their performances are just "disconnected" and extremely boring.

I'll be always grateful to vk artists for allowing me to discover the post punk scene while introducing some of their most memorable artists and works.

I have the same opinion of yours, and also feel the same way respect the vk scene nowadays. Original VK (even when it wasn't called that way) imported the same "ethos" of post punk; thus the classics acts still sound fresh and genuine despite having 20 or 30+ years old, and in the other hand, newer acts can only become more and more industrialized, to the point of looking ridiculous when looking for the attention of kogal and young girls obssesed with anime and game characters. So VK as a canal of true artistic expression, with its charge of social inconformism, like post punk was, is pretty much dead.

  15. Most part of the time I totally forget that I'm ALLOWED to put "positive" music in my cellphone. That's crazy

  16. Manji 卍

Koichi from mejibray definitely know how to slap a bass. Hisame from grieva made some very creative and catchy basslines on many tracks, and of course, Toshiya from diru, he's brutal.
  17. deathtrap/trapmetal is a thing now? cool

  18. Manji 卍

I'm not a musician, but I know very well that you don't need to have a specific technique to be brutal, but to STAY brutal you gotta learn it properly or take care of it,if you have a natural talent, otherwise you'll get fucked up. Some people think that we are "praising" Deviloof just bcuz it's a VK-deathcore band.No.actually, I don't even like Jiluka or Nokubura. That fact is that deathcore became one of the most forgettable subgenres ever, and thanks to KEISUKE'S vocals,I'm back at this kind of music again. Of course there's plenty of bands as brutal as Deviloof,or even better than them,no doubt, but like Keisuke,no, he's unique.
  19. Manji 卍

If any of us wishes to continue this,I think we should go to the Deviloof topic.
  20. Manji 卍

Keisuke's guttural/death growl techniques are on point,if you compare him with the most famous deathcore bands in the world. All the "unusual" things he does on his vocal performances is what makes each track a memorable thing and at the same time a "love it or hate it" band,if you get what I mean. Furthermore he's NOT a clean singer, definitely not.The muddy, sloppy and kinda amusing aspect of his clean singing is done on purpose, since he has a very funny personality.
  21. Artworks always seemed to be something that DEZERT never cared about, but now that art seems conceptual.however, I'm still afraid of how this single is gonna turn up,I don't wanna drop this band like I did with dadaroma
  22. Being an orphan since very young is tough, cuz you always feel like you have no clue, nothing to proof, nothing to look upon.

  23. Manji 卍

Man,I'm just talking about people who are aware that a certain band is not your thing, but keep complaining about it in every release.Have an opinion is different than bitching around.
  24. Manji 卍

Imagine the possibility of stop being repetitive.they've been improving release by release, stepping it up,so sometimes it isn't necessarily the band that is making shit music, but a matter of personal taste.
  25. Manji 卍

I don't get people who dislikes some bands, but keep an eye on them just to keep confirming they don't like it. Stupid and annoying.
