  1. I don't get NETFLIX, they have the part 3 of some horror movies, but they lack the part 1 and 2.no good classics, very disappointing

I wanted to watch all of Halloween but they are missing the second movie, which is annoying as hell.

Yeah,we gotta download everything or when watching it online the Wi-Fi sucks

  2. Does any of you know about any blog or page dedicated to Asian horror/suspense movies. I'm kinda tired of the north American ones and I don't know from where to start with the Asian ones .Just watched Noroi and Ju-on (again) and they were just super eerie, that caught my attention .if you know about one dedicated to the Italian ones, would be a good as well. THX!

Do you want old classic Japanese horror movies (50's through 80's), or more modern?

As for older stuff you got superb movies like The Depths (1957), Ghost Story of Yotsuya (1959), Jigoku (1960), Curse of the Mushroom People (1963), Onibaba (1964), Kwaidan (1964), Illusion of Blood (1965), Kuroneko (1968), Ghost Story of the Snow Witch (1968), Ghost Story of the Snake Woman (1968), Goke, Body Snatcher from Hell (1968), Horror of a Deformed Man (1969), Black Cat's Revenge (1970), Hausu (1977), Evil Dead Trap (1988), Tetsuo, the Iron Man (1989) and hella lot more that's mandatory as far as Japanese horror movies goes.

      For newer:

One Missed Call, Suicide Club, Marebito, Retribution, Cure, Uzumaki, Dark Water, Grudge, Audition, Kairo, Ringu, Exte: Hair Extensions, Gozu, Ichi the Killer, Battle Royale,Strange, Circus, Tokyo Gore Police, The Machine Girl, Meatball Machine and so on.

A lot to choose from, and a lot of different type of movies. But from what you're saying I would say movies like One Missed Call, Cure, Dark Water, Kairo, Exte: Hair Extensions, Marebito, The Depths, Ghost Story of Yotsuya, Jigoku, Onibaba, Kwaidan andGhost Story of the Snow Witch could be close to what you're looking for. Atmospheric, suspenseful and very good, albeit some better than others. But all worth seeing.

Some of the other movies I mentioned, like Gozu, The Machine Girl, Tokyo Gore Police, Meatball Machine, Tetsuo, the Iron Man and Hausu are more on the weird, fucked up and surprising side of things. But all are great, and I consider all of these must see for fans of splatter and gore (The Machine Girl, Tokyo Gore Police, Meatball Machine), and fans of complete and utter madness and weirdness (Gozu, Tetsuo, the Iron Man, Hausu).

man, you're the wikipedia itself, thanks for the time doing that for me. i heard about some of them but never gave it a chance, the last ones i saw were FEBRUARY,BABADOOK (highly recommend these 2 ,if you haven't seen yet) ,noroi and ju-on as mentioned,i'm looking forward those with that ominous atmosphere, which is built while the story develops itself, without those cheesy jumpscares...well,i do like jumpscares, but not the forced ones.

i saved your text on my laptop,i'll certainly check them out this weekend

  3. SEKIRO is everything I wanted,I mean it's basically a japanesque/samurai version of dark souls. But still have no PS4... And don't forget RE 2 remake that I wanted to play as well...

  4. Any fan here of a gothic vk band callled "BLOOD"? I've missed out on these guys and they have a really cool sound.Already found their discography for download, but any further informations about the members, post projects of them, the disbanding, etc? Thx

    1. Jigsaw9

      Jigsaw9

I used to listen to them back in the day (like... 13-14 years ago, lol). "Sweetest Disease" was among the first few VK music videos I ever saw!

      nomemorial

used to be fairly into them - found them very hit or miss, but "Morphine" is still a top tier VK track. the overall mood and atmosphere of that song is really fantastic.

man, this single is going to DESTROY us all. i feel like CHEDOARA was just the beginning look at all the hype they built around it,announcing the single months before, the new looks one by one this will probably go beyond AIJOU NI TSUKI ,SHIGARAMI and VANITAS,and we never imagined that none of these 3 songs/mv's i just mentioned would sound as good as they are.
  6. it would be a cool thing, seeing Daiki working for both bands he seems to be a very nice person and a good frontman as well
  7. some of the albums i've been listening to lately Detriti records is a German label (if i'm not wrong) they have some really interesting releases if you've been looking for some fresh stuff related to dark synthpop/coldwave/post-punk highly recommend these tracks. god this is probably how Ian Curtis would sound like if he had survived time enough to form his own dark synthpop project This one below is the side project from the vocalist of the spanish and phenomenal post-punk band Belgrado really cool shit, the beats are hypnotic and cold, with her robotic and smooth vocals floating around

this band is so incredible that only their LOOKS gives you the excitement of some new song preview or stuff like that SHO's gonna KILL it fuckin hard, just breathtaking. uff
  10. Impossible not to feel pathetic when you say positive and motivational words to people when deep inside you don't even believe in any of these words you just said.

    1. 123Sandman321

      123Sandman321

Perhaps, but it's important to make to other person believe, when they need to. And even if you don't believe in the words you say, the other one might.

    2. Manji 卍

      Manji 卍

@123Sandman321 yeah,that's what i thought.making someone important feel better is what matters, even if it's against your own "beliefs"

i know what you're talking about, my first ex commited suicide a year ago. of course it's not as bad as losing your relatives, i can't even imaging how horrifying it must be. but being half dead - well, i know that feeling. life is a fucking joke huh. i don't even think focusing on new things is a good solution - suppressing your inner thoughts doesn't solve the problem. idk what will work for you, but i've read some books and they helped me accept different things. i still don't think life is a piece of cake or something meaningful but now i'm like okay whatever, let's have some nice moments at least before i end up in grave

    3. Manji 卍

      Manji 卍

@yomii your thoughts makes sense again, and sorry about your ex. I really need this "whatever" button in my life. But we need something meaningful to hang on while "enjoying" these moments, don't you agree? like a well succeeded career, family and a true love. My cat and my geek stuff won't give me the "structure" I need to stay strong living in this shit world

    4. yomii

      yomii

you know such things as successful career, family and true love are not so common, even among people who don't struggle with depression...but i think the point is in trying to achieve such things anyway. maybe you will achieve an ideal, maybe you won't, but step by step you will make your life much more comfortable. you've said you have some things to finish, and you want to find a better job, so it means you do have some goals in life, so, can't these goals themselves become your "structure" instead of geek stuff? if you find a better job that will be your first step to a good career. and maybe you'll meet the love of your life there~ maybe not, who knows. but anyway it will be more comfortable to work in a place that doesn't disguist you.
tell me about your cat btw .w.

What the fuck I just saw/heard
  13. Manji 卍

Just noticed that their last new MV is reaching half million views, they seem to be blowing up on the internet and getting the recognition they deserve. After losing two important members, they did an amazing job. It's bad to see their schedules being compromised, but in other hand I don't even care, the album is near and revealing 3 tracks before it's release would be giving too much.I prefer seeing the MV's after the album comes out
  14. Wished the production had more balls and the vocalist had a bit more "distinct" voice. But a liked the early-gossip similarity in the track and the cheap but cool look,I see potential (Edit: that drumming was really nice)
  15. A "show your cat thread" would be a cool thing here.

  16. Already dropped them, however is such a waste to see Yoshiatsu stuck in this clown-kei shit concept, cuz he's an unique character in the vk scene.his cleans and his growls both are flawless. He should be doing shit like NAZARE/DIMLIM and not that.
  17. Judging by the live samples on his Twitter ,KarasunaMei's new band/songs are going to be a "Super Saiyajin" version of Mamireta. Kinda amusing to say it cuz he is one of mamireta's inspirations.

    1. suji

Yes, that's a shit example, but I think you guys get what I mean lol

  18. That sounds like a "telephone version" of Ojamashimasu, but not as catchy,of course.I liked the tight and heavy production,it doesn't sound sloppy like the last tracks, something happened again. However,Batsu's screams ruined it,imo,he desperately needs a vocal coach to learn how to scream "properly" and extend his capacity, but the track is an improvement after all.
  19. Everyone knows it,but a nice trick to stop spending money with new clothes is buying repeated cheap black clothes ._.

  20. If you have or had INSOMNIA, you probably know the TORMENT it is.

  21. Man, it's fuckin Seiya.Any doubt that it's gonna be awesome? Brutally hyped. (Edit: Hope they bring one more insane vocalist. After keisuke we had SHO and right after we had MIO,all of these bands are somehow connected ,so something really interesting is coming)
  22. Man,the whole instrumentation of this band is absolutely BRILLIANT,those guys deserve to be applaused.But...Karma,why?His vocals... something is just "off" to me.That chorus was damn catchy again, but please improve your vocals.
  23. Manji 卍

the only good thing about this single is going to be the re recording of 遊郭-再構築 (Yukaku). Waiting for the re recording of Kogarashi and Jubaku Ai. The classics are the classics.

  25. I'm still a "baby" when it comes to black metal (just one year and half into this amazing subgenre), and already became my favorite subgenre of metal along with VK. Talking about darkthrone, I've been getting into each album , starting from the first one ,very carefully, and right now im into "the cult is alive" . Transylvanian, funeral moon and northern sky are the holy Trinity of their discography, after these three albums i felt kinda lost with what kind of concept they were trying to present. However,I always visit their albums whenever I'm looking for some "straightforward metal" (Panzerfaust is simply glorious). Ready to get into the rest of their discography until the new record is out,I'll buy this.
