  1. Just like NETFLIX did to Death Note, the same happened with Lords of Chaos, they took an idea that they knew that it would "sell",but ignored completely what it really is and made it their own way.I felt uncomfortable watching that.

If they're not gonna stay true to the source material, why don't they just make something completely original? When this kind of thing happens, people don't get angry because it's bad. People get angry because of the lack of respect and commitment, and rightly so.

Well, this is what happens when you try to make a Hollywood movie out of something. You sensationalize it and distort it because it fits the "story narrative" better than the truth.

I treated it like a parody and then it was actually a fun watch, but if anyone thinks this is even remotely close to the truth then it's a problem. Like how Euronymous was portrayed like a nice sympathetic person when in fact everyone who knew him at the time says he was quite the asshole and couldn't care less that he was killed, lol.

Oh and don't get me started on having a fat jew playing Varg. That HAD to be intentional given his inclinations, lol.

i haven't seen it yet, but i've heard mixed stuff about it. i do think jonas akerlund was the best director they could have gotten for this, though. he's the only movie director with that kvlt metal cred.
