I've grown to love the "new" sound and this has one of the best riffs and bass lines, they've done, lately. The album's bound to be tasty.

They still look better without makeup than half the scene so who cares 

I caught Tatsuyas drum stick back at Slam Dunk a few years back when I went to see Crossfaith there and got two of their setlists so far, one from last Thursday.
Also caught drumsticks from Denka and Kazuharu and a pick from Takaki (Kosuke wanted to give me one too when I burst out in tears during their last song lol but that b*tch in front of me ripped it out of his hand, still mad at her) and a water bottle from Yuuki when he was in DOAK. Then there's a setlist from GYZE and a bunch of picks Ryoji gave me after one of the shows and one of Shujis drumsticks.
And I  have a setlist from Nocturnal Bloodlust buried somewhere.
There are also quite a lot autographs, pictures with bands, cheki with bands etc.
 

My most prized item that I literally carry with me as a lucky charm  is this autograph I got from sweet angel Satochi during the tour in 2015 in Paris. They literally stopped and even took photos with some brave souls but my embarrassed ass could only get a sign from honestly the most kind person in the world ;A;.
 
 
And also this picture of me and my heroes in Paris with Yukke holding the first letter I've ever tried to write in Japanese XD.
The thing that Miya is holding in the picture is a tiny magnet  shaped like a toaster with a bread in it. Everyone had presents for them all prepared and I literally had nothing but that letter for Yukke XD. I felt bad so, while I was shopping for souvenirs for my family I saw these magnets and decided that maybe their fridges needed a little something on them. I got my family some magnets shaped like croissants and for MUCC I got toasters XD. Obviously 2015 me thought that she was so funny.
 

my most prized procession was actually caught by my partner at one of the dezermucc lives early this year, but i claimed it. 😛 
it's satochi's drumstick, but sora was the one who threw it (it was at the encore session the bands did together).
 
 
the only thing i ever caught myself was yukke's pick that tatsuro threw at us at a non-vkei festival in kabuki-cho. i think he aimed it at our group because it was obvious we were there for them.

Sujk's drum stick bounced off my finger and right into the hands of the much taller guy standing next me who snatched it right up fmllll.

Nero is amazing for uploading this video and speaking up. My friend and I experienced this recently and got called "ayashii" pretty much to our faces (they thought we couldn't understand Japanese). They asked us to show our resident cards, emptied our wallets and looked at the names on our credit cards. They also asked personal questions about my family. It was really humiliating but we complied because we didn't want to get in trouble. The real kicker was when they noticed my friend has a Yoshiki credit card and started talking to us about X Japan as if they were our  friends. It took all the restraint in the world to not tell them to go fuck themselves. 
 
 

I became a fan of MUCC not too long ago (2014-2015) through a friend who likes them a lot and had introduced me to some songs. Honestly the moment I heard "Mother" I instantly remembered that this song was part of the OST in Naruto Shippuden. And also Nirvana for InuXBoku SS (but I couldn't keep up with this one XD).
I wasn't too into v-kei at that time but these guys brought me back into this world that I've put away for so many years. I don't know what kind of crack they made me take, but I find myself loving their music every time they release something new. 
 
My favorite will always be 家路. That song hits all the right places in my kokoro. The lyrics, Tatsuro's voice, the melody ❤️. The new version of Ieji hits home so bad it took me months to not cry when I listen to it.
 
Another favorite that I like to listen from them is 優しいうた. I wish everyone could've heard Tatsuro sing it during their anniversary concert in 2017. It felt so good and Tatsuro's harmonica sounded amazing.
 
I gotta say, these boys sound so much better live. It's something in the way they perform each song that just blends in with the theme and they're very good at showing the story behind the song. 
Especially nowadays, Tatsuro's voice had gotten so warm and cozy. His tone calms you down, gives you strength and all those good emotions for a recharge.

I see you can even listen to your weird japanese metal on Spotify, kids have it way too easy nowadays... 
BACK IN MY DAY I had to hunt single songs in 92kbps on dial-up Limewire and half the time ended up with "I did not have sexual relations with that woman.mp3".
 
Funny story, that's how I got into vk! 13-year-old me was browsing the wide web, probably for some quality Britney Spears, and found a grainy Miyavi's Jibun Kakumei PV instead. With a 20MB download limit per day, I thought CLOSE ENOUGH and the rest is history. 
 
Now I'm back after over 10 years of impersonating a Serious Adult™ and I have Opinions™ to share. 
 
Some bands that I used to listen to (some of which are surprisingly still around!): Miyavi (duh), MUCC, Merry, girugamesh, 9GOATS BLACK OUT, Hora, Kaya, Schwarz Stein (can't believe they got back together, it's like I never left!) and the whole shebang, Aural Vampire, Kagrra,, Yoshiki's classical stuff~
 
And some bands that I've discovered in the past few weeks and absolutely love: Initial'L and consequently Lycaon, DIMLIM, Xaa-Xaa~
