I absolutely despise StU. It's the most overplayed, yet most boring song in their entire catalogue and for reasons beyond my understanding, they feel the need to include it on nearly every release.
It's three times on ANDROGYNOS, once on ARCHE, three times on ARCHE AT NIPPON BUDOKAN, twice on DSS AT NIPPON BUDOKAN, once on the MTV live, once on the SUSTAIN THE UNTRUTH single, once on TOUR14, once on TOUR16-17 TMOAB, of course once on VESTIGE OF SCRATCHES and again on ARCHE as a remix.
I have it 15 times in my discography and 200 scrobbles on last.fm .__.
But apparently they've performed it only ~172 times, which is nothing compared to the ~535 times OBSCURE was performed.

Hmm, I can try. This is from their live at 川崎CLUB CITTA' in November 2016:
It starts very quiet, with ambient sounds (Glockenspiel or something like that?). They sounds are coming in one by one until ~0:37, when the actual band starts to play.
The song starts off rather hard until at ~01:07, it calms down and vocals begin at ~01:24.
At 01:43, there's a shift in the music and at ~01:55 something like a high-point begins that goes on until ~02:20.
Then another verse with mellow, slower music until ~02:45, where the same shift from 01:43 is repeated (same lyrics "sono toki..." - "watashi no kokoro o").
Unlike at 01:55, this time, the ambient sounds appear again in the form of a piano/keyboard(?), or at least that's what it sounds like. A piano key again and again, like "dun dundun dundun dundun".
Then at ~03:10 "Ranunculus... Ranunculus...". Still ambient and piano thingy, very very mellow, reminds me of Kukoku no Kyoon.
At ~03:29, the ~01:55 part is repeated again, with the last verse following and some more "Ranunculus". It clocks in at ~05:00 total.

The version from April 2018 is a little different. Same ambient intro, but vocals start at ~00:35, the band joins him at ~01:00.
"Watashi no kokoro o" at ~01:07, followed by the high-point. Second verse at ~01:35, "watashi no kokoro o" at 02:07.
Ambient sounds again with "Ranunculus... Ranunculus...". The rest is the same as the other version, but they shortened the song by almost one minute, I think. But I can't pinpoint exactly what is missing or has changed, really.
I think it can be described as a ballad, but it's actually more of ballad-rock-ballad-rock. Nothing over-the-top like DECAYED CROW, but as I said, it kinda reminds me of Kukoku no Kyoon.
    Or something like that.

Maybe with B-sides so the live isn't only 30 minutes long though^^

As I said before, I don't really have ears for music, but you can't tell me that some of you consider the mode of performances to be on the same level as the NoK live disc. Even I can hear the differences, the NoK live songs are beyond bad. I've only listened to mode of Wtd., but that one was nice. Not super-super spectacular, but it had its moments (like dead tree and kodou). Imma watch those shows tomorrow and maybe drop my mp3 rips if anyone cares about those.

By the way, is it true that VANITAS is about Daisuke? Allegedly, Kyo used similar lyrics to a Kagerou song or something like that...?
From what I found, the band received the message of his passing during the break before their encoure on 2010/07/15, and the next song was -mushi-, but Kyo wasn't able to sing because he cried so much... hm

    It's probably a wordplay on this: http://tangorin.com/dict.php?dict=general&s=猫を被る

Also, I asked kyotaku for her take on the title translations and wow, would you look at that:
    01. 軽蔑と始まり (Keibetsu to Hajimari) - scorn and beginning 07. 赫 (Aka (could also be read as ‘kaku’ but English dir site lists it as 'aka’)) - shine, glitter 11. 谿壑の欲 (Keigaku no Yoku) - unlimited, insatiable desire 12. 絶縁体 (Zetsuentai) - insulator (the cap from the merchandise from this tour has 絶縁 (insulation/disconnection) printed on it so I’m assuming that one of the new songs (new or new-new) they play is this song ) 13. Ranunculus - the language of flowers says 'attractive’ or 'brilliant’ Looks like my translations aren't that wrong at all, huh. Who would've thought.

理由 me up! (理由 me up inside)

What's the reasoning for that? With Ranunculus, the lyrics were on screen. For the other song, "I cannot love myself" (or sth like that) was audible and/or on screen, too. Kyotaku calls it "Punk's Not Dead", iirc.
It's so confusing, all these new songs @.@

It's almost entirely guttural, lots and lots of screaming and growling. A lot resembles the "Bring them to light" performances back in the day.
I would say it's more The inferno than Midwife, because Midwife only become faster in its second half.

I'm not sure why he calls it that. Personally, if I didn't know better, I wouldn't think it was a song by them. Not sure how to describe it, it's very "poppy", "up-beat"...? Dunno if those terms fit what I'm trying to say.
The song starts with guitars, then at 0:10, drums join and then the rest. Kyo starts singing at 0:22, first bridge(?) at 0:55 (I cannot love myself *Toshiya growl* x3), then chorus, then the song changes its beat at 1:28 (short Guitar strumming 4/4... I think? Like Dun-Dun-Dun-Dun). Second verse at 1:42, bridge (this time more gibberish) again at 2:03, followed by music only, refrain again at 2:32, then climax at 2:52, followed by a short Guitar riff, Kyo sings again and that's it. 3:30 long.
