fave: Garden, Vice†Risk, Mist of Rouge. also, it feels weird calling Vidoll a matina band (i just think UCP), but considering most of their first releases were on matina, you can add them to my list fo sho.

least fave??? idk, maybe one of the ones with a more generic metal sound like VellaDonna? or Remage?

i mean, that's what I like about matina, I think in general they just had a lot of good bands which all made some real gems every once and a while. I'm sure there are some Madeth and Syndrome fans who will skewer me for this, but no band from Matina strikes me as like untouchably good, or without a boring filler-y song occasionally. But they all had their great moments too. For almost every band who was on the label, I can name a handful of songs that were really exceptional and bursting with passion.

But maybe the whole "inconsistent, but usually pulling through with some A class bangers that make up for the live-only headbanging choreography backing-track B-sides" thing is just part of the nature of VK.
