Just tried Dimlim for the first time, and I got to say, even though I'm not really into Br00tal bands, Dimlim is REALLY good. I haven't seen such instrumental in a newer band. The staccato notes are clean and cut of clearly. Though the growls could be better, the clean vocals are on point and wowed me. I will definitely be on the look for more stuff from these guys

To me, Xaa Xaa's Doushaburi no Kanojo sounds reminiscent of Kuroyume's "Under...", which in turn, gives off vibes similar to Spellbound by Siouxsie and the Banshees (Mostly due to the powerful and aggressive use of Acoustic Guitar~) I'm not entirely sure Siouxsie influenced this specific Kuroyume song, but Siouxsie did have a very big influence on VisualKei, especially on the makeup. In fact, a lot of Kiyoharu's early makeup styles are similar to that of Siouxsie's. Plus, a lot of 90's Vkei has it's roots in Gothic Rock in general. Though I have no doubt the Xaa Xaa song is definitely Kuroyume inspired. The composition just sounds very... 90's-y. It's something that's hard to explain into words. It's something you really just have to listen to. Under... itself is a very important 90's Vkei song. The electric guitar lines, both chorused and distorted, would become elements in almost every other 90's Vkei song, and it's distinct sound still resonates in Vkei to this day.

This is one of the main reasons why I hate beach, pools and such. It doesn't matter how much sunblocker you bathe in and how little is the time you stay under the sun, you will ALWAYS get sunburnt.

I don't know how I feel about the Prince YT channel that came into existence recently. I love that now some of his rarer videos are now in legitimate existence on YT, but.. we all know how Prince was kind of anti-Youtube. (Though to be fair, that's just bad business on his part)

I also like coupled singles, especially when bands cover eachother and put their own twist on it. It's always interesting to hear a song preformed differently~

The Kuroyuri fan page on Facebook posted about Kuro's two kitties (THEY'RE SO FUCKING CUTE OMG) So apparently the story goes that Kuro adopted Nyannosuke because no one else wanted him, and Kuro noticed him there for 6 months every time we went to the pet shop. And then he adopted little Nyanta. He adopted him because it was "love at first sight"

I didn't mean that Yoshiki produced anything before Gauze, I'm talking about promotion and stuff. Yoshiki discovered them in 1998 with their single I'll and took them under their wing, and got them to officially leave Free Will and go major in 1999. It was also in late '98 that Diru had their first performance at the Budokan, and got TV promotion on a show other than hotwave. It was under the table because it wasn't until '99 that they full on left freewill. I have some friends who are experts on Freewill and Extasy stuff (one even knows Yoshiki), but I could ask them more if you want

That's mostly from under the table Yoshiki money in 1998 xD (which became openly over the table money in 1999 with Yurameki, Cage and Yokan). Though apparently, there wasn't even enough people to fill their 1998 Last Indie Tour at the Budokan.

So in memory of Daisuke from Kagerou, I burned some Joss paper. It's an old Vietnamese tradition to burn Joss paper for the dead (plus I had a shit-ton of Joss paper I bought from the Asian market just because it said "Bank note of hell" on them, so I thought I'd put them to use xD)

This one isn't particularly Vkei, though people lump it in, but I'd say Wagakki Band got popular quite fast. And by that I mean they took less than 2 years to start playing Nippon Budokan and world tours. Thanks, money based Avex!

Shinjou Kasumi posted on Twitter that Gekijou Tenor would have a one man on September 30th, 2017 titled "Please Dance Again" at Holiday Shinjuku Also, it seems as if Aka-on is still a thing. With the new Gekijou Tenor revival, and Unlucky Morpheus starting to pick things back up, maybe there is even more in the future involving Kasumi and Yuki?
