Agreed. It should be down to the parents, not the government (and by that, I mean parents should sit and talk to their children, not get mad at them for being curious/having a libido). Just because some twelve-year-olds have discovered that there exist ways to find porn outside of trying to look it up on YouTube, that doesn't mean the adults should have to pay for it.

Well... I do agree that adult content is currently far too easy for children to access online. But idk if this is the right measure.

@Zeus - so true. It seems in general that people are growing more and more intolerant of anything outside of their own world view, and both their ability and willingness to think is compromised as a result. It's like anything that doesn't result in an immediate dopamine spike is quickly discarded as "toxic". It's a sad state of affairs.

the internet is quickly fragmenting into groups based on socioeconomic, sociopolitical, and political lines. i felt like this was going to happen because all the algorithms do is show you things it thinks you will like, which tends to be things that validate your world view, so social media networks are the equivalent of depressed people yelling into the digital void. for as ancient as a forum is, there's personality here that big social networks can't replicate.

@Zeus Twitter is basically just a pseudo-Tumblr. I don't think it was always like that, but it definitely is now. Everything has to be part of an SJW political hive mind; you say something people disagree with and you get ree'd at, even if you were being totally fair/respectful. This is why I like MH so much; it's neutral, and you can share your opinion without anyone attacking you. Hell, someone might completely disagree with what I'm saying right now, but I feel confident that no-one's gonna leave a death threat in my messages/on my feed.

It's hard to say how they felt, but I think it was clear that they enjoyed what they did and dedicated much time to perfecting their craft. I think it's such a shame they weren't more popular because they put a lot of thought into every single aspect of their music and the releases they produced - lyrics, music, cover art, costumes, names, etc. They really deserved more =\

They don't mollycoddle, but people expect you to do that in day-to-day life if they're feeling down/depressed. Unfortunately, I can't do that because I don't have the patience. I just need to provide people with a solution, and if I can't, then I'll direct them to someone who can. I don't know what that makes me, but I'm definitely not as kind as the people who can sit there and just listen. They probably think I'm victim-blaming or something... not that I'm trying to. I don't get angry at people for having problems; I just can't deal with them if I don't have a solution to them.

God, yes, I agree. So many both great and shitty bands coming and going. And I love the forum because you can just say x band sucks ass and you won't get 20+ butthurt fangirls demanding you get banned from the group lol
