Same here. While I like the sound, I don't think that the vocalist is fit for that type of sound. The Matina sound can be amazing if executed correctly, but they just don't really execute it that well, save for a few songs

My favorite song of theirs is 久遠ノ籠 from their newest single. So good if you guys haven't heard it.

That's me with half disco from LACK-CO and VRZEL's Deception song and their lastest full album. It just feels annoying when it takes to much to listen.

Judging from past results I'd say no. You would just end up with people listening to subpar rips and cause headache to archivalists in the future. Plus deliberately sharing low quality rips is kind of an asshole move, one I've long claimed we should have a rule against. 

in the past it encourage me a lot to buy the real CD tho.

Now, why shall I buy a CD when I can find the highest quality for free?... 

When we still shared on livejournal nobody really knew yet about quality and nobody really complained. the teaching about quality it all started here on MH.

But doesn't have MH have a rule that everything should be ripped at least at 128kbps? 

I mean you can't really forse someone to share their rips on 320kbps all the time.

Two years ago I couldn't find decent VRZEL rips anywhere so I bought everything... and became a fan after that.

Update: they had to accept me back because their public shaming didn't go the way they expected and fans were lashing at them LMAO

With a majority of topics, not just this one, depend on each individuals mindset.

Understanding why it bothers them, and incorrectly choosing to make it a big deal, is entirely up to them.

Regardless of their reason imo.

It should not be something to rile you up though.

Take for example my opinion on this matter.

I personally don't have an interest in the each bands life, outside their career (music), and it's a decision that I choose to make. I live a busy lifestyle, and their music is how I respect them. Now if that bothers someone, that's on them.

I don't feel intellectually superior (I'm not sure to who I'm comparing myself to actually), but I feel that the band's hard work (if it actually sounds good that is) is something that I prioritize in my admiration for the band from my reasoning.

What I feel about people who do enjoy talking about the band members (whether male or female), should not matter, whether positive or negative. Being a fan of VK, I understand that the scene has more female fans than male by a big margin.

I think logically, and I take into consideration peoples feelings or experiences with said subject, and then decide that whatever opinion I may have, is better left unsaid if negative.

I chose to not partake in these discussions, and I expect those who do talk about it, to respect my decision, and not make me feel bad for it.

Your comment about not being a fanboi of cars or sports, proves my point.

You (I'm not sure who you mean by "we" as I know a few fans of VK and cars) chose to not partake in discussions regarding cars, or sports, and most people (men and women) must respect it.

Those who don't, and let it get to them (or failure to understand), should be none of your concern.

It's their own thoughts they need to address, not yours.

I'm really interested in the aesthetic/artistic side of things but on the other hand I don't know much about musical terms / techniques athough I fucking love listening to music. I feel like I get judged a lot for being a "" superficial fan """ since I often make comments about band members and their looks. sigh People should be allowed to like both lol

@platyI feel lots of dudes talking about guitar riffs online never actually held one and are probably just trying to sound cool and not being called "superficial".

I remember back in school, people would pull my headphones out of my ears, and tell me to listen to either this mumble rap, country, or "Hick-Hop" (AKA Redneck rap) song. Someone, literally once interrupted my La'Mule to make me listen to Panda by Desiigner. 

I only have this problem with family . Family reunions always suck because is always country people who go and all they listen to is country . At reunions they always play country music and it's so loud that when I put on headphones and turn my volume up all the way I can still hear their music .

Country is quite good imho for me the same effect comes from Italian "hip-hop" and "rap" and mainstream pop songs a la Justin Bieber; even Youtube can be seen as someone who tries to stop your J-rock momentum for some VEVO ad...

your mother is worrying too much. japan is one of the safest places out there, and people say it all the time because well, it's true. i actually feel safe going out alone at night compared to where i live (even tho the crime rate is pretty low). i mean, of course you should still be alert, but as long as you avoid the red light district area or any of those sketchy places you should be totally fine.

well, there is sex trafficking but unless you're desperately accepting job/marriage offers from strangers you're not really the ideal victim... tourists aren't the target, instead it's girls in bad financial situations. for tourists the biggest prostitution-related problem is idiot foreigners who go to host.hostess clubs and get ripped off. but i know nothing can assuage a mother's worry easily so make sure you get pocket wi-fi or a sim card so you can check in as often as possible. just be confident and choose a place that you like the looks of because i'm sure you will be fine c:

REALLY the worst thing

It's a relief to find out I had most dvds and videos backed up on an external hard drive and most of the music I can get it right here.

Almost same for me... today I reminded that in my old Nokia N900 there is all the music until last Summer (so I have to upload all the releases up to today in it, plenty of work to do!)

Any idea what the turn off is caused by? I get it and I also wanted it to be Yu-ki on vocals but straight up Ryo has more noticable skill to offer. Hard to nail down why Yu-ki is so much more enjoyable but I guess as a singer it's a natural charisma thing

I think it might be the pitch. If it were lower or deeper... or sounded less strained I'd like it better. 

I eventually got into Kiyoharu and Daigo, whose voice pitches I used to dislike a lot.

Yeah could be right this is also how I feel about most of vocalists in vk I end up fans of lol

Yu-ki is needed out here tho I hope we see him soon..
