      @platy most are students, which gives them more time to spend on bands. University in Japan seems to be a bit more lax compared to grade and high school, or even overseas universities. Some are sexworkers, a handful are housewives, a lot of those who work (like me) are 100% devoted to the band outside of work, so they don't have to split their time and money between the band and dating elsewhere/other hobbies. Due to time/money restrictions most don't follow nearly as many bands as western fans do, but devote their time to 1-3 bands. I know a lot work in places where you can exchange shifts with co-workers and such, allowing for more flexibility than a 9-5 job.

    You guys have no fucking idea the struggle I just had with iTunes for the past 4 hours lol.

     

    Not sure wtf happened but the Error-54 plagued my PC and resulted in me almost losing my entire iTunes playlists haha thank god I've dealt with something similar before and won this time.

      Windows’ latest update uninstalled the iPhone recognition driver and I just spent like 2 days fixing it because not a single advice on google worked.

    I am sure i am pretty much alone on this one BUT richardland by 8P-SB is such a great album!!

    i dislike everything else they've released so far but richardland is really amazing.

    If they can keep up this quality or even TOP this then i can't wait for their next release.

    I've arrived back in the States after two very fun and eventful weeks in Tokyo. Leaving was so hard, but I've made it my New Years resolution to start planning to move to Japan permanently this year. I haven't cried this much in a long time.

      It fills my heart to read all this. They really do get along and it shows that it’s not just a bunch of dudes stuck together by a contract, and that friendship and passion shows on stage. 

      Ricko is such a bright and pure person, he really is one of the nicest people I’ve met. I’m happy to hear he was happy. 

       

      Omg please let me know how Sena sings 🤣

      Zyean is awesome, period. He’s so chill and easy to talk to and tries his best to speak English with foreign fans lol I hope you get a chance to go to a M&G someday. They are really fun to interact with.

      Oh, yeah, Ricko and Sena do that xD it’s nice how they know their audience so well they immediately notice new faces. 

      They hold them out to trade, and Boogie is actually the most popular by far, seconded by Zyean currently, so the first girls at buppan were

      most likely Senagya and Rickogya.

      I use it often, both for stores and auction, I’ve never had an issue with them in the three years or so I’ve used them. Higly recommended and they have less fees than buyee.

    8P-SB's new album isn't as awful as their previous material.
    Who would have thought 2019 would be the year 2018's most hated act would actually step up their game and the two most celebrated newcomers would flunk it with songs we'd rather forget.

    Were 1st press copies signed by the band? I’ll post a photo soon to see if anyone can verify that they’re the bands signatures

      As someone who recently saw them live, is in touch with actual gyas in Japan and not just crossing fingers and theorizing online, they do need to be put out of their misery asap.

      Sho is talented, motivated and into Vk, but also too spineless to stand up to Retsu’s whims and caprices. He deserves people he can actually work with as equals and not only make good music but being able to perform it proficiently and comfortably, looking at ease on stage. Which lately he hasn’t.

      I thought the same once I saw them live. I regret paying over $60 for hearing the same song on repeat for two hours.
