the first track had that VISUAL-KORN vibe from some KTK tracks, and that "ballad" reminded me CHILD MOTHER, plus the "misui" track.basically kuroyuri to kage again.nice

my guess is that they'll come back eventually. their 2nd single was very bland, but both mini albums are unquestionably good they've just started their career, can't see why they need to disappear forever so soon

yea, there's also the whole message of the lyrics,of course, but i think that showing the act itself in so many MV's can be very destructive, mostly to the ones who face this dark issue.

was talking with @Manji 卍 about similar stuff, and it looks like some kind of brainwash in vk scene like "hey, look self-harm is something totally normal,no big deal"
  5. wanted to make a topic about the positive and negative aspects about finding new bands on internet.I mean,i remember when i didn't have access to internet and each album that i could buy,i used to spend weeks listening to the same stuff.Nowadays there's so many good stuff and infinite options floating online, that even though i discover some  incredible  music  i feel like i never give the "proper" attention it actually deserved due to the fact that i'm always  busy giving attention and discovering other stuff each day.my english suck, but thats it,not sure if its worth making a topic for it. (and of course it is better with internet lol)

Naaaaahhh, you are just fine. We live in a world where we are bombarded with new information every day and music is just yet another form of information.

So choosing something that is in abundance is more difficult than when there's shortage of it. And it's a good thing to me, since it's part of progress and progress in general cannot be stopped.

Pros: easy to find new bands, can listen before you buy and so on. And the sheer amount of bands gives you countless options.

Cons: the sheer amount of albums being released makes it so hard to keep up, and to find a proper diamond you basically have to check out a lot of albums because everything drowns among the amount of albums. And I don't feel like I have as much time to give albums the time they need to truly shine.

Back in the days, way before I had internet, the way we bought albums was simple: we bought magazines with reviews and after a while we got to know the tastes of the reviewers. So we knew who was matching our tastes in music and not. So if an album got a proper good review we'd go out to the music stores close to us and give a few tracks a listen there, and then buy it if it sounded good. And then for the next weeks that's the album(s) we'd be spinning on repeat. It was fun, but at the same time we did buy a lot of albums that gave off a good first impression, but we ended up getting rid off. Felt like such a waste of money. Nowadays that just doesn't happen to me, unless I just buy something blind which I do every now and then. Because that's a lot of fun, but sadly too expensive.

This is the same as with movies, video games and so on too. Same shit. When we bought, or even rented, movies and games back in the days we ALWAYS saw/played it through. No matter how bad our first impression was we watched or played the entire thing through. Sometimes it payed off, other times we felt betrayed. :P

well, guys it looks like something to ponder,i'll let it up to any of you create it

because i suck at creating topics and this forum demands some level of quality

so i'd apreciate if any of  you (if want) take the initiative.

need a full album ASAP , i'm hungry for their music. those singles and b-sides were awesome, but not "nutritious" enough
  7. Euronymous

  8. Euronymous

i need some time to digest that
  9. if you've been looking for a "black metal" version of Gorillaz, here's your cup of tea
  10. Could be,indeed. As long as they fix that horrible production, I'm down
  11. I want to see what kind of direction this new single is going to take. TIW tracks may sound amazing on live, but the studio version don't convince at all.
  12. they don't waste time,huh. knew this would happen. #KVLT #notredame
  13. @Bear interesting lesson. You can say that the term I used isn't totally right ,but "nothing to do with" is a bit too much lol .well...That sounded like death metal to me,with doom influences of course, and an "extra brutal" approach on the vocals. the swedish thickness of the guitars made me think of entombed instantly, indeed. Always thought that shit like dying fetus and company were what people call " technical death metal". I'm not a musician (yet) ,all the subgenres I just memorized by downloading and buying stuff online, never had any specific studies about it ,so I'll probably make some "confusions" here and there

hope they give us some proper samples of the new tracks soon, stead of those drumcam clips but since they've been doing gigs everywhere already,idk...
  15. the artwork of these two albums caught my attention, then gave it a spin, and holy mother and saints.this shit fucks hard fans of brutal death metal with vocals a la Hooded Menace gonna like both this Celtic Frost vibe tho. awesome track
  16. indeed.and i didn't know they had 5 members.let's hope for their blow up they have been surviving in the shadows
  17. Euronymous

Deutschland's MV was intentionally polemic.it always works using political/historical shit to get everyone's attention.but speaking about that track itself ,didn't hear anything special.

Everyone has different complaints about different bands, thats ok,but come on,this band is outstanding.Track 7 was unnecessary, but still an incredible preview.
  21. HIRO looks ready to spank DEVILOOF for taking the place of heaviest japanese metalcore-deathcore band
  22. @Bear this shits fucked up,thanks for introducing them
  23. it's been more than one year since Yuuki (ex unsraw) released those previews, etc. My guess is that he was about to debut with his new project, but something happened in the middle of the whole process.( i could be very wrong about this) The important is that he has been posting more and more from the studio,so he still working hard. Can't wait for this, love his early 2000's kei style.

      I miss UnsraW greatly.

  24. as a title-nashi-head,i think this should be their alter-ego band and call it 肋骨少女 (rokotsu shoujo), since i've seen that name once in one of their concerts, and it's like a hit from them,it would be a cool touch, thus giving the DEZERT style/band a proper hiatus, and not just killing it's legacy like they've been doing. The song is pretty good,we don't have a decent emo-kei band in the scene, only the CHANGE that annoys us.
  25. fuck yes ! youtube just recommended this, and it looks quite interesting sounds like some blackened death metal, the vocals are fuckin sick
