i'll leave one final clarification about "NINTH":

a few months ago i suggested in a post to refrain from sharing NINTH for a week or 2 if we were interested in seeing how much (or how little) of an effect international piracy has on japanese music. this was merely a suggestion. we are not taking any modly actions. NINTH will be treated the same as any other release here, if that's what you all choose to do. i'm very well aware other places will host it as soon as possible and that it will make it's way here in due time. "due time" is up to you.

I came across this Juliadoll CD they gave out at their last live. It’s sung entirely in broken English, it’s not foolish(only song they’ve never released). Anybody know anything about this?

It’s funny how when it’s a generic pop-rock band like Zero[Hz] you guys are like “COULD IT BE MORE GENERIC?” “SO MUCH MORE OF THE SAME” but when’s it’s the most generic “MAMA I’M A PSYCHOPATH” band like Mamireta you worship them to the death....... Very funny.

I know I'm years late, but I noticed Sailor Moon Crystal was on Hulu, so I started watching it recently. I kind of love it?! I only casually watched the 90s series. It's of course a classic, but I could never bring myself to watch every single episode, because of the tedious "monster of the week" structure and the absolute milking of transformation/attack animation sequences. This remake, which I hear follows the manga much more closely, has much better pacing, a more serious tone, and a lot more variety when it comes to attacks. Some cheap CGI and nothing beats the original music, but overall, a really worthy remake, imo!

After 8 long years, I just gave my letter of resignation to my boss. No turning back now.

Everytime a newcomer vk band releases a jazzy song, a baby panda dies in a gruesome way

This has probably been asked, but can anyone name VK bands that got better towards the end of their career? (Not counting bands that were only active for like 2 years)
 
I'm trying to honestly assess if I have an everlasting nostalgia hard-on, or if bands just tend to lose that youthful passion they needed to once prove themselves once they've already made it. With literally every longer-lasting VK band I like, I favor their earlier/first releases (Versailles, Vidoll, Matenrou Opera, Mucc, Nightmare, Kagrra,, 12012, Ayabie, Miyavi, blah blah).
 
I feel like the GazettE might get mentioned, and I fucked with them for the most part until DIM, but as I get older I find myself caring less about their high-budget modern metal sound (which they continue to pursue, arguably quite well?) in favor of many of their early recordings that may have been slightly rough around the edges in some way, but oozed with passion and desperation. This all despite the fact I discovered GazettE around the stacked rubbish area and didn't care for much before it until many years after.

unfortunately yesterday after almost a month I got my 4th refund trying to get ahold of the CD lol.
But today I made one final order...since it's through Amazon it should be guranteed. So have to wait a bit longer, sorry maybe someone else will have it before then though ԅ(¯﹃¯ԅ)
