      In my opinion Ninth was good in its being flowing and pretty sober (you couldn't expect anything different after their huge effort in Dark Age phase), but it's not one of their best works for sure (despite there are some tracks which are true pearls, such as The Mortal)

      At the time it was a very big deal for the band. As fans, how could we not be blown away by the sudden level up gazette went through? It was one of my favourites, but now I can look back and see plenty of what I don’t like about gazette is in this album. It served its purpose.

      Now I can definitely say Ninth is better than DIM, it’s more fun and feels less stale. This opinion may be unpopular.
