@Manabu Like i said, I haven't actually finished the manga myself  so I dunno how the execution of it went but the ending is definitely....unexpected for a series of this type. I guarantee you won't guess  

That's my main issue with TG as a whole. Kaneki is only badass for 2 minutes/2 chapters PER series!! He then goes back to doing nothing, holding back or just hiding in the shadows while everyone talks about how legendary he is. It's actually the reason I dropped it. The author is just messing around way too much. It's a shame because there are some awesome characters but oh well, plenty of awesome series that actually deliver out there.

@platy hxh 2011 is hands down one of my favorite anime ever. And easily one of the best shounen ever written. Hisoka is definitely a pervert, however you slice it, but an interesting character nonetheless lol. HxH has a lot of well-written characters tho. If you're only on ep 15, then the best has yet to come! YorkNew City, Greed Island, and especially the Chimera Ant arc are fucking phenomenal. Keep me posted!

@CAT5 I was worried during the first few eps that it would be too childish and I loved Togashi's previous work with YuYu Hakusho, but I'm already hooked in every way  I hung out with friends years ago while they watched the chimera ant arc so I can't wait for it so I can actually understand what's happening

@platy - oh i didn't even realize it was in theaters yet. If they've been able to outclass what or at least match what they did with the first season, then i'm sure it'll be worth it.

MMO? I disagree, it appears to be single-player with the same combat system seen in 15. 

@Total Saikouthe graphics look like FF14 but even lower, that's why I thought of MMO. I'm hoping it's because it's really early days in development, but I'm not the only one who thinks it's graphically disappointing. 

I was horrified in the first minute, but then it very slowly won me over.

I don't know how you imagine the graphics would improve in terms of character model and texture quality with the art style the last few games have gone for. All the lighting, shadows and other effects looked amazing. 

What was a bit jarring, tho, was that the supposedly main character was shown fighting the monsters alone and not just once.

@saiko not to get too deep, but I've not only observed a change in the world (as we all have) but also in many people around me. Lots of people discovering themselves, changing aspects of their life etc. I thought of myself as only the observer, but then realised I was going thru massive changes as well. 

I would say that they're essential listening for anyone who likes rock music. Have fun checking them out! Everyone praised Nevermind a lot but when I actually sat down and listened to more of their discography I found out that Bleach was my fav

Luckily Golden Wind's another one of those seasons that has multiple OPs and EDs & the second ED is waaaaay less goofy than the first one. The way the sequence evolves over time is v. cool too so look forward to that.  Second OP is also waaaaay cooler than the first one IMO

I'm pretty sure they used freakin you because one of the members of the group is called 'JoJo' but I agree, you compare the other ending themes and they've all been really good choices, freakin you not so much. As for the opening, I liked it but I think it got hyped up a lot because it was the same guy who did bloody stream.

iirc part 5 is quite battle heavy with little filler, I'm quite interested to hear who your favourite character from part 5 will be!

Bryce's death scene was not too far imo, but it wasn't as joyous as Monty's death reveal. I would have loved to see Monty's death. He was a rapist, he showed no remorse, viewers who defended him and shipped him with that fucking weasel he slept with are all fucking delusional.

IMO, Hannah's death was harder to watch that what Bryce did to her, for ptsd reasons. When I was a teenager, my sister had a cutting addiction started from a failed suicide attempt, so seeing that scene especially fucked me up. But don't get me wrong, the Bryce scene was still immensely fucked up.

Hmm yeah this show has something triggering for everyone. I struggled with the start of s4 because they portray the journey into a mental breakdown really well and those things are still too fresh in my mind  😅 be careful with s4, Clay has been eyeing broken glass, I think he might start cutting FYI 

To make matters worse Winston is now a main character and like I don't get at all how he could become so protective/vindictive over someone he fucked once then got beat the fuck out of?! I already hate his face. That's my issue with this show. They just have gay characters/'hotdudes' kissing to appeal to the ~irl yaoi~ crowd out there. The same crowd who makes amvs for Winston X monty. Having a f X f couple wouldn't bring in the horny wattpad teen bucks so they just keep sprouting gay hot bro characters. (Tony tho, he's great and has a lot of depth). Especially for a show that wants to StARt a ConvERSatIOn about everything, resorting to the "fell in love with my bully" trope was the last straw.

I'll give them this, the zach x alex moment was sweet. But to me felt like it came out nowhere. But if they gonna make my boy Zach swing both ways I'll have to accept him in the team with open arms. 

@Manabu I’m glad I watched all of SC, I laughed so much. It was great to see slapstick cartoon nods with the Mondatta and zenyatta brothers, Death 13 arc and feeding a baby his own shit, Polnareff and the never ending quest of finding a decent toilet was relatable and anxiety inducing because I have a irrational fear of toilets that are less than pristine lmao Was sad to see best man Avdol go  basically, this is one of the most creative series I’ve ever seen. 

i still think that YES YES YES part in SC is one of the best parts of that entire season lol

@platyYep, Zenitsu is annoying as fuck. The Boar-head guy too. Whoever is writing for the show, I just felt like they did a really poor job, cuz a lot of the jokes fell flat or just felt really awkward. Mind you, when I see that whole "coward" archetype in shounen, I immediately think of Usopp from ONE PIECE...he's hands down the best cowardly characters I've seen written.

With gulu gulu, I noticed many similarities to their first release. A lot of the same tricks were used, so I hope they don't repeat their gimmicks too much. The ballad was super nice.

Listen, I'm serious when I say that the synth IS DETRIMENTAL TO YOUR HEALTH. Whoever composed those synth bits is a fucking maniac. If you get past the synth there's the fact every song is in terrible, auto tuned Engrish.

kingdom, wonderland savior and vampire saga are for the most part terrible, terrible releases, but their recent ones were very nice as well - i don't have any standout tracks and need to listen to them a bit more

Kingdom was a great release. 

I recommend one of their best albums. Bloody Rose or Vampire Chronicle I and II.

It's true. Tbh I was planning to save my photos at least on a CD. Only way to make sure nothing will go corrupt/missing with time. 

The moment they described the long ass trip they were gonna take to get to Egypt I knew I was in for a hell of a lot of filler. If they wanted the story to be snappy they'd have called the Speedwagon foundation for a private plane lol I'll stick with it for sure though.

After you finish the anime, be sure to read the manga! The parts that haven't been animated yet are much better.

@seys I actually started buying the manga. The editions here are really beautiful and truly a collector's item, but for that reason also very expensive so I only have two volumes so far 😄

Jolyne and Johnny are my favourites, I'd suggest reading the coloured versions of the manga as well.

You could skip a few episodes in Stardust Crusaders because the story is quite simple, there's no filler but you'll miss out on some great fights and character moments.

Can't think of any but as soon as I read "Inuyasha" I heard the guitars in Fukai Mori and now I'm going through Do As Infinity's discography.
