HELLO. I'm Rae. I've actually been a member of the forum for a very long time, I've just  never posted. 
 
My favorite bands are D, Dir en grey, D'espairsRay, MUCC, One Ok Rock!, Versailles, and many others. I'm also an avid cosplayer and nerd. Nice to meet everyone here!

I missed out on seeing Versailles when they were going to Dallas. I was trying so hard to earn money from my allowance to buy plane tickets to see them, but I didn't get enough, so I had to skip out. And I regret that decision greatly

I have been to Japan, and experienced the culture, and although it's a beautiful place to visit, I don't think I would want to have been born there. I like who I am as a person, and I have nice genes from being hispanic (I'm 30 and look like I'm about 18, so thanks mom for that). I also learned Japanese, but I don't want to be Japanese.

Torikago ~L'Oiseau bleu~ by D Has got an AMAZING guitar solo at the beginning, as well as all through it. It's a slower, gentler song but I enjoy it a lot.

OMG haha I can imagine! But that's so cool, what a list you have there!!! You must live in Japan to be able to go to so many concerts, then. How neat! Thanks for sharing

Have any of you been recorded; either visually or vocally, at a j-rock concert? And then ended up on a cd/dvd? 
 
I have! I ended up on the Snow White single by D. The song "SIGNAL" was recorded live at their Major Debut Concert (Which I was at), and so I ended up being a part of the screaming crowd at the beginning of the track! It was super neat to realize that I was there, and experienced that event!!

I honestly fell in love with BUCK-TICK after I heard the song Dress from Trinity Blood. My friend Ku is super into them, and loves them a lot, but I haven't liked them very long. However, I adore Atsushi, I think his voice is super unique and his stage presence is wonderful. 
 
My second song that REALLY got me into them was "Alice In Wonder Underground." The video made me go WTF the first time, but now I absolutely love it haha.

How do you even PRONOUNCE that? XD

I just got a new job, a job that I wanted, that I was so excited for, and was SO worried that I bombed the interview. Turns out, I ACED it, and they're super excited to have me on board! And I'm so excited to be working after being unemployed for almost three months. It has been a long couple months, but I am kind of glad my old job let me go, since I now have a job that I want, and wouldn't have really pursued it otherwise.
