  1. That feeling when you order vk cds and you have to wait for them to get to you. But you want them NOW.

  2. I missed out on seeing Versailles when they were going to Dallas. I was trying so hard to earn money from my allowance to buy plane tickets to see them, but I didn't get enough, so I had to skip out. And I regret that decision greatly
  3. I have been to Japan, and experienced the culture, and although it's a beautiful place to visit, I don't think I would want to have been born there. I like who I am as a person, and I have nice genes from being hispanic (I'm 30 and look like I'm about 18, so thanks mom for that). I also learned Japanese, but I don't want to be Japanese.
  4. I booked my hotel room for my trip to Japan in October. And I'm definitely going to go both concert hopping, and visual Kei shopping. But the only bands that I really like that are still doing concerts are Dir En Grey, D, Matenrou Opera, Kamijo and One Ok rock!

What are some bands that I should check out? Maybe buy some cheaper cds of theirs while I'm at Closet Child? Also what places should I go to? I'll be staying right in the heart of Shinjuku, right by the subway/train, so I can literally train anywhere.

I know that I'm going to go to Like An Edison, Jishuban Club, and Closet Child. But I definitely want to explore Tokyo. The last time I went, I didn't get to do what I wanted to, but this year I'm going to be ONLY in Tokyo, so I want to experience as much of it as I can! And go to concerts! (I only went to one because I had pre-purchased tickets.)

I just hope the bands that I want to see are playing while I'm there haha!

I'll be there October 24th - November 7th, so if anyone has suggestions as to what I should do during that time, I would LOVE to hear them!! ❤️

Ooh, nice! I love visiting temples and shrines. I believe there are some temples/shrines in Tokyo to see. The most famous one is the Asakusa shrine. There's also a famous shrine in Harajuku called the Meiji-jingu Shrine. (Unfortunately, I'm not sure about the furisode ^^;)

Here is a more thorough list of shrines and temples I found online: https://trulytokyo.com/tokyos-best-shrines-and-temples/ Hope that helps :)

Yes! Akihabara and Ikebukuro is like anime heaven XD So much anime goodies there, lol.

I'm guessing by your responses that you either live in Japan, or have been there enough times to know quite a bit about it. XD I may be asking you some questions as the months go on, so that I'm not totally lost and such haha.

I'm definitely going to have to buy a second suitcase, one for solely merch, and one for clothes lol. I want to make sure I have enough space for all the stuff I am planning on buying. I'm so looking forward to this trip, it's way overdue.

I only wish I lived in Japan ;w; It'd be so much easier to buy goods and CDs and to see the bands play live XD I've been there before, so I know a little bit about it ^^ So no problem. If you have any questions, I'll do my best to help out :)

I was just thinking how it might be a lot for only one suitcase, lol. When was the last time you visited Japan?

  5. I just watched the entire Kamijo 20th Anniversary DVD "La Vie En Rose" and I don't even know how I feel right now. It feels like I've ascended to another realm. It just amazes me how GOOD Kamijo is on stage. I think I'm feeling my past 12 years of love all at once, since I mentioned before that I had to like him in secret, since my friend would get mad if I even mentioned him without her saying something first (Versailles was the exception because I liked Jasmine).

But oh man, I feel so happy that I watched that. It was a great dvd. I really really hope that he's performing when I go on my trip to Japan, because I NEED to actually experience one of his lives.

He has gained the number two spot as far as favorite bands go. Sorry D'espairsRay, I love you, but the only other band that has ever made me feel this way is D. I just. I can't even describe it right now. But I feel so good. I could feel the love he had for his fans in his music. It's so lovely. Even though this was from 2015 and was pre-recorded, I still felt the love through the screen. Such a weird feeling.

But bless you, Kamijo. I hope I get to see you live one day. ❤️

I also think it was a awesome DVD! It really takes you back through time!

It really does! I was like I KNOW THIS SONG AND THIS ONE AND THIS ONE!

I also noticed that pillar on the cat=walk half way through and was like "....what is that for?" and then once I saw the rose sitting on it I knew what it was for. It was Jasmine's pillar and it was a beautiful segment that they did for him. I cried a bit at that part, especially because they used one of my favorite pictures for him when they showed him on the big screen.

I am definitely going to purchase this dvd after watching it. It's so beautiful, Kamijo is a beautiful soul.

  6. Goodness, I've been listening to so much Lareine lately. And I have fallen in love with Lillie Charlotte. ❤️

  7. I love this so much cuz they're all playing each other's instruments. Also Tsukasa as Vocals is just yaaaaaas

I've been running around doing errands for the past few days, waking up early and going to bed late and I am TIRED. So I'm excited to sleep in tomorrow. I want to rest all week since I start work on Friday (New job yay) and then have two busy back to back weekends!
  9. I got a goodie today, and it has a whole bunch of my favorite people in it. But I mainly bought it for Kamijo and Ruiza.

These are all in color, and they're so pretty! I'm gonna post some of them on my twitter if you wanna take a look~

(And yes they are, I chuckled about that, too. )

Awesome! I just saw it on Twitter and the pictures are lovely ❤️ Ruiza looks so cool leaning against the rail, and Kamijo appears as great as ever with his fabulous blonde hair xD (Thank you so much for taking pictures of it! Love gazing at these photos ^-^)

❤️ They are so lovely. I love Ruiza so much, and he always looks so handsome out of his costumes and without makeup. And Kamijo is always good looking too haha.

You're welcome! They're not very good cuz I took them with my phone, but once I get a scanner maybe I'll scan them cuz I want the Ruiza images for icons and such. ❤️

Been thinking a lot about Kamijo and Lareine....<3
  11. This is going to be a really long post, but I literally lost sleep last night thinking about this haha.

I really also don't know why I'm posting this. Maybe I just need to post it somewhere where people will understand. The community that I love so much.

Music really has a way to change us, mold us, and destroy us.

I was super into Versailles when they formed. I had always liked Kamijo, and followed him pretty extensively through his Lareine career; although I had to do it through my friend who liked him, she would get mad if I liked him. But that's a different story.

I had been a fan of Versailles since the day they started. I fell in love with "The Revenant Choir" instantly. And I fell even more in love with Jasmine You, the beautiful, talented bassist.

I ended up spending all of the money from my first job on Versailles and D stuff. To the point where I made stupid mistakes and overdrafted my account and my parents had to bail me out hah. But I knew that I had found something amazing. Versailles touched my heart in so many ways.

I ended up owning (and still do), their entire discography up through Jubilee. Including rare live-only cds and things I had to use shopping services to purchase. I had to have it, I had to support this amazingly talented band.

And then it hit me like a bag of bricks. Jasmine You had passed away. As quickly as they had come, they were gone. And I couldn't handle it. I was such a huge fan of his, I lost it. I had never cried over a celebrity death before, but I literally played "Episode" over 1,000 times, my grief was very strong. I didn't know how to deal with the fact that a musician that I loved so dearly was gone from the world.

I didn't touch Versailles for years. I wouldn't follow them, wouldn't buy their other cds. I was grieving in that way. I didn't want to hear Versailles without Jasmine in it. And whenever any of their Jasmine-included songs would play, I would skip it, as it would upset me to the point of tears. I just couldn't do it.

Last night, I was watching some Kamijo videos. I can listen to his solo stuff just fine. And Lareine, too. Lareine is one of my favorite older bands; so I'm okay with them. On youtube, I was just clicking around. Watching Kamijo video after video. And then I saw it.

    "Remember Forever."

A song dedicated to Jasmine, that I had never listened to, because it was on a cd that I had never bought. That I didn't know existed, because I had excluded myself from the world of Versailles. It was a live video, so I clicked on it.

I was not expecting the emotional ride that I went on. Purple lights on the stage; lights for him. For my bassist. And a song that was so beautiful, I started bawling my eyes out. It was written for him, and you could tell. The quietness of the audience made it even more real. But it was beautiful.

After I had finished watching it, I spent a lot of time just listening to Versailles. Thinking about Jasmine, and how happy he had made me when he was alive. And I realized that I shouldn't be afraid of change. I should continue to go on, even if something sad, or horrible happens. And that I should continue on.

Jasmine is a beautiful person, a memory that should never be forgotten. And I never will forget about him. It'll be 10 years in November since his passing. And I think I'm brave enough to play Versailles again. To REALLY enjoy them again.

    For Jasmine's sake.

  12. AhhhH! I won the day yesterday! How fun! ❤️

  13. RaeDesu

Torikago ~L'Oiseau bleu~ by D Has got an AMAZING guitar solo at the beginning, as well as all through it. It's a slower, gentler song but I enjoy it a lot.
  14. I've been on a Lareine kick lately. I love Kamijo so much, and I've loved him for years. I actually had a friend who got mad at me for liking Kamijo, because only SHE could like Kamijo. So I had to like him in secret. I'm glad that I finally get to listen to him without worrying about her coming down on me. She's not in my life anymore, so I am free to enjoy my music.

I'm not sure if you've seen this Live, but there was a mini reunion in 2015. Seeing Machi again ignited my soul.

Brava! A real friend knows that the love for Kamijo must be shared. (I will never understand jealousy over bandomen)

I'm watching Boruto! It's really fun hahaha and kinda silly but I enjoy it. Just watched Recovery of an MMO junkie, and ORANGE (which I HIGHLY recommend)

Oh man, I HOPE it's a racing game lmao! I really want to play the dancing all night games, they seem super fun! I just haven't had a chance to get my hands on a copy, yet. I'm so behind all of my friends, they've all beaten p5 and I'm stuck in a certain area of Futaba's castle lmaoooo~
  18. RaeDesu

The last movie I watched was "The Little Rascals" with my mom and her boyfriend. That movie came out in 1994. I feel so old lmao.
  19. Getting hyped to see them in March....

  20. RaeDesu

I know that I was recorded visually on the Taste of Chaos tour photobook, but I never saw myself, so they must have not used Seattle footage when they made the book, which makes me sad, cuz there was a whole bunch of friends and myself all together. I also know that I was in a couple images from when D went to Akon, cuz I was in the front row of that, but I believe they were from blood Stain Child, and not from D.
  21. RaeDesu

I read several reviews and such by men who are mad that you couldn't date Yusuke lmao. But yessss, I'm stuck right now in Futaba's castle but I love the game so far.
  22. RaeDesu

I actually love Persona5! I want to date everyone hahah (Including Yusuke, he is my best boyfriend. He just doesn't know it.) I've played other Tales of Games before (Graces is my favorite), so I'm excited to play Vesperia, since I never had the system for it when it first came out.
  23. Woke up to this song stuck in my head.....

  24. RaeDesu

OMG haha I can imagine! But that's so cool, what a list you have there!!! You must live in Japan to be able to go to so many concerts, then. How neat! Thanks for sharing
