Someone really doesn't like instrumentals lmao, I personally think some of them help enhance the album's tone quite a bit with an easy example being Arche, "and Zero" really helps setting the mood that the album needs to flow better and I personally always place it as the first track in my personal playlist just before Un Deux or Tefu Tefu (still figuring out which track transitions better from it).
Also why do you not like "Ware, Yami, Tote..."? That thing has always been one of the album's highlights for me.
 
 

Dead Tree might actually sound interesting if they re-recorded it.

That indeed is an odd opinion, even more so because as far as I know people tend to ignore FILTH or find it to be about average for a DeG song.
I do not mind Beautiful Dirt but WTD has way better songs that are more deserving of a re-recording.
 
How come you place Kisou dead last, though?

Kyo - Dir en Grey (His range still amazes me, if only he could do all that stuff live more often, but he rarely manages)
Yuki - Raphael/rice (His voice flows well with basically anything, songwriting can be lacking sometimes)
Riku - Phantasmagoria (Not sure why I like it, after listening to other bands and noticing how they pretty much try to do the same voice, his voice is no exception, but it still sounds pleasing to me, maybe it's nostalgia)
Hyde - L'arc~en~ciel (Soothing, erotic, moody, all at the same time, suffers with the same issue as Yuki)
Klaha - Malice Mizer (I like it beter than Gackt's... His solo career sucked though)

Kyo - Dir en Grey (His range still amazes me, if only he could do all that stuff live more often, but he rarely manages)
Yuki - Raphael/rice (His voice flows well with basically anything, songwriting can be lacking sometimes)
Riku - Phantasmagoria (Not sure why I like it, after listening to other bands and noticing how they pretty much try to do the same voice, his voice is no exception, but it still sounds pleasing to me, maybe it's nostalgia)
Hyde - L'arc~en~ciel (Soothing, erotic, moody, all at the same time, suffers with the same issue as Yuki)
Klaha - Malice Mizer (I like it beter than Gackt's... His solo career sucked though)

I'm in Japan at the moment to see a downy concert and while I was here I decided to go check out the Budokan since I was in the area. Actually had no idea the ARCHE lives were this weekend, so I was pretty surprised when I found myself surrounded by fans queuing up so early in the day xD

I think the "future" for launching media now is releasing an unfinished product? You can see this with video games already, and now Last.fm has launched their website while everything is still broken and non-functional. Everything's about how quickly something gets released, a finished product is hardly relevant anymore.

True, it's rare to see a JRPG protagonist that isn't a boring overused trope, the only example i can think of right now is the Drakengard series, and Tales isn't particularly known for storytelling, it's more about flashy combat and character interactions if anything. So even if the whole cast are a bunch of walking stereotypes, watching them interact with each other might be fun.

Really forgettable album, the only thing that'll make me remember it is how one of my friends kind of lashed out at me after making me listen to it and I proceeded to call it "a crappy ARCHE rip off".

I'm not that old tho, I started listening early is all!
 
My favorite VK bands would be, well, Dir en Grey, not much of a surprise there, Kagrra (is it Kagrra or Kagrra,? I never figured it out) and Raphael, and recently I started getting into rice's early stuff (I jsut wish it was easier to find said early stuff) thanks to Yuki's amazing voice, and Morrigan.
I remember listening a lot to Phantasmagoria when I was younger too...

I decided to create this account after finding out about this forum a few weeks ago, I realized I was never in much contact with other visual kei fans despite being into it for about a decade!
