Same here. I feel sorry for the members (if I should say it like that) because from their blog entries they seemed really excited and willing to really grow. And now they're disbanding? Really sucks. I really want to know the reason....

I did have last.fm years ago (I really can't remember when tbh) but didn't really find the whole concept amusing. It's too bad that they've messed up the site like this if it was as good as it was before the update. It was very popular so this is surely a big punch to their reputation. As many others I use it for scrobble only. Not much more to do. The scrobble function probably is the only thing keeping people.

I have re-joined it, but I'm only using the app to scrobble. The site still looks like shit.

there used to be groups and artist shoutboxes used to be super active. the website you see now is a result of their "upgrade" that took stuff like groups and About Me bbcode away (and it was a lot worse when it was just launched, believe me) and a shitton of people left. Yeah it is super empty and they have been super slow with adding back certain features and fixing bugs. I am only still using it because after all these years on last.fm....i still do enjoy seeing all my artist plays gathered in one page. unfortunately it is all that there is to it now.
