The same way you used to. It means I often end up listening to bands I've already heard of way after everyone else started following them, which embarrasses me for some reason. I have several methods, apart from YT suggestions; Lastfm correlations, checking the releases lists week per week on CdJapan or other sites, reading reviews of similiar bands to the ones I listen usually and this forum helped me discovering some, through the official reviews or simply a translation of a song...

Checking the News section once in a while is always the safest bet. No need to go rummaging through Twitter or random YouTube recommendations.
