ZIZ will release their new album "WABIY ∞ SABIY" this summer. Starting from 2020/05/29, they will be releasing songs from the album one by one, through the course of 7 weeks (they have not specified whether this means that there would be 7 tracks or more). Hello all! friggin hisashiburi bros. I haven't been around much just due to life in general. But lately I've been getting back in to music in a really intense way that I have started to make stuff again. No original music as of right now but I plan on making a lot of covers and a youtube channel possibly. I'm really stoked about it. I recently just got some pieces for setting up an at home studio. This cover is really only about 50% done but I'm so excited to track my progress. I'll probably still re-record the vocals again simply because I'm still waiting for my pop shield so there's still some aspects I would like to remove and line the timing up better. I'll also be adding a few more effects, a couple strings here and there, and maybe a bit more depth. My current set up is on PC. I'm using Ableton Live Lite (Until I can afford the upgrade) with a Novation LaunchKey 61. I recently got the Focusrite Scarlett Solo Studio kit which is what I am using to record vocals and possible future instruments not done through Launch Key. This song is a cover (incomplete) of Sweet Night by V from BTS. Let me know what you think! Also if there are any other musicians who are looking to collaborate I am super down.

If I could hang out with anyone, it’d be whichever core member of the MM gang who’d take me (no vocalists, also I would play a Tennis match or go to Mainatron Craze Space with Kami if he was still here with us). With Mana-sama, I’d want to eat his fabled curry while watching whatever weird European Art film he wants to show me in VHS collection. With Közi, I’d sit down with him in a cafe in Paris, just talking about life and art while we drink too much coffee and overeat croissants. Or maybe we’d go fishing together, except I haven’t fished since I was seven so I’ll be absolute crap at it. I don’t think he’d mind though. And with Yu~ki, I’d want him to do Japanese calligraphy with me or just watch him draw or make jewelry while we chat.

Been to the in store event! The guys were so cool despite the fact of being the only male Westener probably in quite a long long time. Exchanged some laughs and comments after the show given. There was a time I recorded random snippets of melody ideas I had, most of them being on piano. Last year I revisited my library of recordings and found one I really liked. I put on a chillhop rhythm to it and then recorded a guitar part for it just a couple weeks ago. Still learning how to mix and produce so it's definitely not professional, but hey I'm just a bedroom hobbyist doing something he enjoys.

As reported on their twitter, Gt. Jishuban CluPTON, Gt. JEWELRY BRAND X, and Ba. Kinoko CHILD will leave the band after their live on 8/27 at TSUTAYA O-WEST due to differences in direction. Vocalist Little Hearts Masato will continue the band on his own as a solo project.

This album is a quick one (barely 35 minutes), but an interesting one. I think I like it more than ANGELS. It‘a more “modern” than anything else they’ve done. Their tracks from the unknown flowers split with Boris could have worked on this album, especially Journey. So far, my favourites are Dead Heaven and Hamletmachine, least favourites are New York and 開け放たれた窓.

Yep! This is one thing I like about NAZARE, as in a lot of songs I can still hear that early DIMLIM sound and tbh VARIOUS is to this day my favourite release(s) to date from them, I'm all for that madness so am glad that Issei is still rolling and doing his thing. Though I honestly think they would sound a lot better if they stuck with 7 string guitars instead of 8, playing too much on that low string just gives quite a muddy sound that would have much more clarity on the 7th, in my opinion. VARIOUS didn't have that muddy sound and everything was much more audible guitar wise. Only thing that grates me about NAZARE's sound guitar wise is the over use of sweep widdling, kind of gets a bit tedious like Retsu and his tapping obsession. haha.

Both songs will be published on YouTube and from July it will be sold in live venues.

Not my kinda music, but you have a really early era Imogen Heap thing going on in your lower register to me that sounds nice completely unfiltered. Pop shield will definitely make a difference in quality.

I don't even care about Poidol, but the stuff you guys are saying is simply mean. Cheering over bands disbanding really is in poor taste.

Maybe I'm just in the first stage of grief but I'm starting to think that this breakup is fake and just a parody of how lots of Visual Kei bands disband quickly or almost at random. I wonder if there will be a "brand new band" in the next few months with the exact same members and same musical direction as before

Rito writes all the riffs while Ai comes up with the basic ideas and the lyrics. Lanju and Hotaru also have input, but it's mainly Ai and Rito from what I've been told Also, if I'm correct, in "Yogoreta Buta", Ai says the lyrics "Otose Otose Otose", which is a nice throwback to Zakuro no Uta by Memento Mori

I really want to hear NEMOPHILA, but almost all of NAZARE's songs sound so similar to me. Most of the time it just seems like an attempt by Issei to look pretty brutal. As if he was trying and trying to use the formula that worked with DIMLIM in Aharewata... Mio has so much potential to keep doing the same type of vocal all the time.

I saw Yoshiki at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen bags of potato chips in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired from recording the new X-Japan album and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bags and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to preserve the spiciness,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a thing. After she scanned each bag of chips and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

There is no need to get this offended if you open up a discussion about talented musicians with shitty personalities. People are going to say what they want, it's their opinion, and anything you say will not change that. Opinions are like assholes; everyone has one. It's all part of having a good discussion or debate. It's normal. Whether you like it or not, everyone thinks their own way and nobody needs to cater to your needs or sensibilities. Let people think what they want; you're the one who invited this discussion in the first place. edit: I saw that you requested this thread be deleted, and this isn't the first time you've made such a request with a thread you made which didn't turn out as you so wanted. This further shows that you are unwilling to have a real unbiased discussion with anyone about things you may disagree with. The thing about this forum is that it's open to everyone, whether it be casuals or longtime diehards, and any discussion is welcome. What you need to realize is that not all people think alike, and they are not gonna adjust their way of speech or thinking just to cater to feelings of other people. This can also be applied to real life, and as you grow up, you will encounter more people like this who are not just gonna change in the flip of a dime because you said so. You don't have to like it, but you must accept it as it will help you grow later in life.
