I'm really sad I couldn't choose oyaji kei for my favorite type of visual kei. I'm also with everyone else with the last question. Maybe you could have mixed some more mainstream or other types of vk acts from that period into the selection pool or include a wider generation range of artists by including some earlier era vk acts and/or some recent vk acts.

キズ announced and played their new single 黒い雨 (Black Rain) at today’s live at TSUTAYA O-EAST. Looks are white tuxedos, and song sounds like an anime ending, featuring Lime on acoustic guitar and Lalala’s. As as an extent to today’s simultaneous live, I attended O-WEST where they displayed a video about today’s concept. Then acoustic live of Lime (Solo). 4 or 5 songs. We were then invited to exchange our ticket for a surprise O-East full live, two hours later. Everyone was stunned lmao.

did the survey, although i wasn't honest with some of my answers because of multiple choice. having the option to write in answers could give you more accurate results but i guess you're a bit short on time and needed instant answers. curious to see the results though.

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace - Finished this cult series today and thought it was truly excellent. This is a horror-comedy that spoofs 80's cinema in general (effects, music, sets, effects, clothing and so on) and it's just fucking brilliant throughout. Hilarious beyond words. This series is a must-see for fans of comedy, fantasy and horror-comedies. Hands down fantastic!

Eh, that's a bit one-sided. My Japanese is not very good, so I might be wrong, but I think Asty's message mentioned that, in addition to harassing fans that he felt weren't participating enough in Kaitou's set, Masato also insulted Asty directly onstage, saying things like "a shitty band like Asty". It also specifies that when they confronted him about it and said "If doing things like that is just part of your act, you should get the other band's consent", he was like "Aren't you an independent band? Since you're not backed by anyone, there's no need to ask for something like permission", which is pretty disrespectful. It might be a bit of an overreaction to say they won't play any taibans together in the future, but I don't think they're wrong to not want to deal with someone that both openly disrespects them and irritates their fans. As far as I can tell, Asty just posted that message from Kinoko because Masato said they didn't tell Kaitou they were going to make this taiban announcement on their Twitter? Asty's Twitter says that they sent a message to a member they had been communicating with (Kinoko) and he apologized for the situation and gave them the ok to post it. The DM screenshot clearly shows this interaction. Idk, I thought they were pretty cordial in the Tweet. They said it's an easy time for such misunderstandings to occur due to missed messages/the limitations of the style of communication.
