I suppose I worded it weirdly, I'm mainly thinking about someone I know who's actually caused harm and 'admits to doing it' but hasn't made any attempt to formally apologize to me or the victim who has had it much worse from them. Thinking that we owe him any sort of forgiveness for simply 'getting help' when I know he's not remorseful at all and continues to play the victim card on us.

I'd rather not give my take on the subject but I would say I rather people who have that mentality have a means to find help rather than go out in the real world and cause harm

Not sure if it really is an unpopular opinion, but I don't think there's any redemption for pedophiles/child molestors/child abusers. I don't care how many '12 step programs' there are, there's no redeeming that. (I only bring this up because I literally had to hold myself back from yelling at my own mom)

I don't think having kids is a bad thing, I just wanna clear that up. Nor do I think being selfish is inherently bad, actually (in some cases it's actually beneficial). I just think it'd be better if adoption was more popular and I also see a lot of people having kids just because they want to without thinking about the fact that they're bringing another human life into this world that only exists because their parents thought they were worth it. I fully respect people who have children because they want to see a healthy human life grow up and flourish as opposed to "I want someone with my surname", "I want my parents to be grandparents cuz they want to be", "I want..." but that doesn't change my view that adoption is the more compassionate option.

I think it's okay if they get therapy before they actually do anything to hurt someone/look anything up because that shows that they know they have a serious problem and they would never act on it/cause anyone any harm but if they actually go through with it, that's unforgivable.

Nothing to be ashamed of—PIERROT means a lot to a lot of people and they had a very unique, haunting sound. I loved the hell/heaven juxtaposition between PRIVATE ENEMY and HEAVEN. Both were so absorbing and atmospheric. But yeah, I hope FAUST is more like HETERODOX and less like RESONANCE as well. H was a banger.

Nah, you're good! I just wanted to make sure I understood where you were coming from. I totally agree with you tho. Bringing life into this world is a huuuuge responsibility, and it's obvious that a lot of ppl simply don't have a mindset that's conducive to raising children. Having a child for those selfish reasons you noted is definitely a huge issue...I know way too many ppl with multiple children that still think "everything is about them", while their children suffer. It's an absolute tragedy.

I assume most people here know this, but the name Anti-Feminism has nothing to do with feminism. It was an ironic comment on "feminine" fashion in vk at the time. I guess feminism was one of those English loan words that kind of had a different meaning in Japan, kind of like how "bitch" means "slut" over there instead of "mean woman." Drawing the line at nazi imagery seems pretty extreme. That renders like half the 70s punk canon off limits. Would you seriously refuse to listen to Siouxsie and the Banshees or The Stooges or The Ramones because they played around with the imagery once or twice? Around the 80s, real fascist bands mostly moved on to more discrete symbols like celtic crosses and kolovrats--ironically a swastika is a pretty good indication that a band isn't seriously political in any way at this point. Basically a modern satanic pentagram circa the satanic panic. anyway, 'au†ism' were pretty ahead of their time, people definitely weren't obsessed with memeing that word back in the 90s like they are now.

Cannot agree more with zombieparadise. When Pierrot had a concept they would go deep inside. For example, i think with the Angelo last album ' resonance ', they did a kind of ' brighter ' album. It's not bad, but for me they could do much better. Pierrot when they wanted to do a bright album, ' Heaven ' came out. It was like each album as it owns world. Also each members brought something more original. For example Jun guitarist of Pierrot used a guitar-synthetizer. I don't see many bands nowadays who use this kind of thing. It adds a lot of originality. Takeo on drums mixed acoustic drums and electronic pads. Plus you add to this Aiji groovy guitar style. I know i sound like a fanboy of Pierrot. But dont get me wrong, i like and listen to Angelo. But Pierrot is Pierrot. Maybe Faust will shut our mouthes who knows

I think a majority of people would agree that PIERROT had a lot more artistry and creativity when it came to creating their music. (Some) Angelo songs are good, but they don't stay with you the way over the years the way PIERROT songs did. I wouldn't call it 'living in the past'; its an obvious comparison between two related bands.

Since Jack Caper have been kind enough to add big, colourful subtitles (and even pictures!) for most of the dialogue in their new YouTube videos like variety shows, I decided to try to translate this video. It's from a series of interviews where the members all answer the same 20 or so questions to introduce themselves to the fans. For whatever reason, Riku added some extra questions in at the beginning for Hiro that none of the others answered, so those aren't numbered. My Japanese is atrocious, so even with the subtitles there are some bits I didn't understand, which I've highlighted in red and marked with "**". If anyone wants to help fill those in, please feel free. Any corrections are very welcome. Riku: Question time! Hiro: YAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!
