Jin has never met a song he couldn't ask "but can we make it 7 minutes long though?" about. (And I loved that about Nega, so this gives me more hope than the first track they dropped did.) -

I don’t think that for him or satsuki it was a choice, they’re just both dropdead idiots who tour europe and sell their shitty arts and crafts on the web because literally every other bridge has been burned. -

to be fair, the design looks somewhat "kradish" if I may say so also if I remember correctly all the members mentioned something about "from 2nd february on..." maybe I was just dreaming or interpreting too much but I would love to see them together once more, they are just a wonderful combo. Also when shedia "disbanded" we already had this mysterious new band "krad" announced(like I said if I remember correctly) edit: ONE MORE THING.Krad is also from the same lable so it can certainly be that IIIRD consists of ex-krad members. Additionally interpreting the III as a symbol for them sticking together as a 3rd try/band or its just wordplay cause you would pronounce IIIRD third if I am not horribly wrong here -

KRAD will disband(?)
Chikage and one other reacted to Xerath for a post in a topic
I didnt understand everything myself but its basically how they feel about the disbandment, how they thought Krad would be like but the result didnt pay out as they wanted it to and we see it ourselves actually. They didnt get enough out of it and thats what happens usually when bands dont meet their expectations. I think the vocal of schwartz;mist mentioned something like that a while ago aswell, like if you dont sell and people dont attend the lives, which is really sad, cause(as the most might know) I am a huge fan of KRAD(and SHEDIA obv.) and not knowing when and if they will be back really sucks. I just hope they will be more successful with their next bands/projects 🙏 -

1 pointThis song is seriously giving me NEGA (the later years). A bit tired sounding, but I'd rather take this over another TBS-ish band. edit: LMAO I completely forgot we already had a song by these guys. That one was terrible, this one was okay, so dunno what to expect anymore really... xDDD

1 pointPretty much just Dimlim at this point. And to me they’re new because I only like the post-Issei stuff. I liked Xaa-Xaa, but I lost interest quickly. Kind of got numb to all the stuff they were putting out. I heard one Develop One’s Faculties album and liked it a lot. I should probably give them more of a listen.

This is going to be a really long post, but I literally lost sleep last night thinkin
karai · ebi reacted to RaeDesu for a status update
This is going to be a really long post, but I literally lost sleep last night thinking about this haha. I really also don't know why I'm posting this. Maybe I just need to post it somewhere where people will understand. The community that I love so much. Music really has a way to change us, mold us, and destroy us. I was super into Versailles when they formed. I had always liked Kamijo, and followed him pretty extensively through his Lareine career; although I had to do it through my friend who liked him, she would get mad if I liked him. But that's a different story. I had been a fan of Versailles since the day they started. I fell in love with "The Revenant Choir" instantly. And I fell even more in love with Jasmine You, the beautiful, talented bassist. I ended up spending all of the money from my first job on Versailles and D stuff. To the point where I made stupid mistakes and overdrafted my account and my parents had to bail me out hah. But I knew that I had found something amazing. Versailles touched my heart in so many ways. I ended up owning (and still do), their entire discography up through Jubilee. Including rare live-only cds and things I had to use shopping services to purchase. I had to have it, I had to support this amazingly talented band. And then it hit me like a bag of bricks. Jasmine You had passed away. As quickly as they had come, they were gone. And I couldn't handle it. I was such a huge fan of his, I lost it. I had never cried over a celebrity death before, but I literally played "Episode" over 1,000 times, my grief was very strong. I didn't know how to deal with the fact that a musician that I loved so dearly was gone from the world. I didn't touch Versailles for years. I wouldn't follow them, wouldn't buy their other cds. I was grieving in that way. I didn't want to hear Versailles without Jasmine in it. And whenever any of their Jasmine-included songs would play, I would skip it, as it would upset me to the point of tears. I just couldn't do it. Last night, I was watching some Kamijo videos. I can listen to his solo stuff just fine. And Lareine, too. Lareine is one of my favorite older bands; so I'm okay with them. On youtube, I was just clicking around. Watching Kamijo video after video. And then I saw it. "Remember Forever." A song dedicated to Jasmine, that I had never listened to, because it was on a cd that I had never bought. That I didn't know existed, because I had excluded myself from the world of Versailles. It was a live video, so I clicked on it. I was not expecting the emotional ride that I went on. Purple lights on the stage; lights for him. For my bassist. And a song that was so beautiful, I started bawling my eyes out. It was written for him, and you could tell. The quietness of the audience made it even more real. But it was beautiful. After I had finished watching it, I spent a lot of time just listening to Versailles. Thinking about Jasmine, and how happy he had made me when he was alive. And I realized that I shouldn't be afraid of change. I should continue to go on, even if something sad, or horrible happens. And that I should continue on. Jasmine is a beautiful person, a memory that should never be forgotten. And I never will forget about him. It'll be 10 years in November since his passing. And I think I'm brave enough to play Versailles again. To REALLY enjoy them again. For Jasmine's sake. -

What newer VK band interests you?
merchenticneurosis reacted to Takadanobabaalien for a post in a topic
As of right now I have an interest in: La'veil Mizeria, Diaura, Virge, Matsutake Works,Roman Kyuukou, and Rands. -
1 pointhide - Dice This was my first hide song ever and this solo has always stuck with me. Versailles - Love from a Dead Orchestra This has always been my favorite Versailles song, and the solo has a lot to do with that. Perhaps a touch "noodley," but not enough to make it feel like just pure fast guitar wankery, and there is enough substance here that I find it incredibly memorable. Dir en grey - Cage I'll be the first one to admit that this one is over rated as heck...though perhaps not any more (do people even talk about early era diru anymore? lol). That said, it's still quite catchy and a bass solo still is something you hardly hear. When I thought of guitar solos in Jrock, this is one of the first ones that jumped in to my mind. NoGod - Guren Perhaps this would be in the "runner up" category for me in terms of solos, but I still enjoy this one a fair bit. It also reminds me of how much I miss early NoGod. I know I am missing one major one for myself here. When I first saw this thread, I knew exactly what song I needed to include. But for the love of god I can't remember what that song is anymore.

ぺるしゃ猫 reacted to Karma’s Hat for a post in a topic
Some of the guesses here even make me as someone who's never been to Japan or doesn't know a lick of japanese feel like an insider of the biz. Mamireta disbanding while they're clearly growing in popularity is impossible bar some totally extraordinary circumstance and Gazette and Lynch have pretty evidently zero reasons to disband as well functioning T-shirt factories, oh and... Mejibray? Seriously -
